Not a terrible strategy, it works, but it depend on Luka not hitting 50%+ on off dribble three's. They are switching to take away passing angles and drives where Luka is also deadly. Problem is that Luka is currently dicing it up, and how you have to decide to stock with the plan or switch it up and give him a different look.

paul george isn't shooting well (even though he's picking it up) but he's had a fairly solid game in all other aspects.

Reggie is awful. This is why I wasn't fooled by anything he did in the regular season. You cannot play him in meaningful games with how bad he is on defense.

Picked it up in the third, not having sloppy turnovers, 13/3/5 through 3 quarters is acceptable, not great, but not bad. Would prefer more than a "fairly good" performance though

Luka, although he is a PG, this is the reason why he reminds me more of Larry Bird than Magic Johnson. Magic, probably the best point guard ever, couldn't make a shot until later in his career with a setshot not much different than Rondo's, whereas Larry was a great shooter with great size who can also happen to be a playmaker when he wanted to.

They're much better coached too. Carlisle doesn't have insane loyalty to terrible players like Lue does with Reggie.

If he had made his shots like he did last playoffs or even over his playoff career, his minutes would have been okay, the misses have hurt, but not in the sense that it is why the team is down, just that they could have added a couple more points in those minutes.

Have you watched the game? This is like putting a child on Luka. If he doesnt feel the defender, he will eat you alive. Have to force him to make difficult shots. Terrible strategy

we just need a win here, to build that confidence. I am disappointed that we are starting the 4th down by 6 but I still think we can win this and build that needed confidence for the series.
