Even though he’s only guarded Tatum once or twice, I think Kyrie had the best approach towards defending him. We should be pressuring him as soon as he catches the ball. If you let great scorers get into their setup moves that they’ve practiced ad nauseum, scoring is more or less a formality even with a hand in their face. Pressuring them from the start gets them out of that rhythm. You want every dribble to be as uncomfortable as possible. He still might score a lot but he’ll expend a ton of energy doing so. That kind of repeated effort should wear him down by the end of the series, if not by the end of each game.
