I really disagree with KD guarding Tatum. He shouldn’t be wasting his energy trying to slow him down while also doing so much for us on the offensive end.

I’d rather sacrifice a bit of individual defense on Tatum by sticking a worse defender on him so that KD can mainly focus on offense than make KD guard Tatum and have less energy on the offensive end.

Run set plays... wtf guys

If there’s any frustration I’ve had with this team’s offense, it’s that we default to ISOing so much because we have three of the best ISO players in the league. Isolation is supposed to be a bail out play, not a main staple of an offense.

It’s harder for the non-stars to get involved because they rely upon patterns/set plays to get into a rhythm offensively. I saw this in the Chicago game I went to as well.

It’s very easy for the opposition to guard ISOs. They don’t have to move and they get to conserve all of their energy for the transition plays when you miss ISO shots.
