I would 1/3rd disagree. Beal has missed all of his 3s, but he's been good everywhere else. He's made inside shots, rebounded very well, made some great passes, and looks locked in.

He's 0-4 from 3pt and he's played every minute so far. Maybe that's part of the problem. Brooks has not rested him yet.

Westbrook is making every possession seem so difficult. Everything is forced. Nothing is in rhythm.

Yeah, Beal has been fine other than the 3-point shooting. The Wizards' run stopped as soon as he came out of the game.

Russ reminds me of Wall in that they're both explosive, but neither has much wiggle in their game. It's hard for Russ to use his handle to juke a defender without an advantage.

Oh wow, Embiid's third. Not much there. But good aggressive play by Len, who of course can't make FTs all of a sudden.

The Wizards can't keep giving up open looks from 3. The Wizards are very lucky Philly keeps missing.

That 3rd Embiid foul involved the same amount of contact as Gafford's 2nd foul... none.

Foul calls have been bizarre on centers this game, for both teams. Refs are not bringing their A-game.

To an extent, sure, he's 32. Not as explosive as he once was and uses his strength a lot more than his quickness. I think the trade worked out though.

Don't double Simmons.

Yeah, wasn't a referendum on the trade, just a comparison of their respective games.

We are also very fortunate that Philly can't make threes. Just 3 of 14.
