Incredibly, the only stats he cares about are in a vacuum and completely without any context or nuance. Anything that feels like a complete slam dunk argument against people who were born yesterday.

Just a moronic comment so wasn't worth responding to. You think they win their first ring without a Draymond?

We can't help ourselves. We're degenerates in search of meaning. We lash out at the players because, deep down, we despise who we are. But can you blame us? We're grotesque monsters. No man or woman could ever love us. We cry out for affection the best we can, but it's barely intelligible to passersby. Instead, we gather here to wallow in our self hatred and convince ourselves that life if just as unfair as we make it out to be. A LSD trip or even daily meditation would help us realize the truth, but we dismiss drug-taking as a pathetic endeavor. We see sunshine as oppressive, so we only dwell where darkness is king. We push posters like you away because you attempt to make life brighter. But we're too far underground. The light would only sting our eyes, rendering us blind. Take your banter to twitter, where optimism reigns. You're of better use there.

Dude your sarcasm is lame! And it’s not going to change the fact that some of you are beyond annoying whiners who makes it hard to wanna be here!

This is a familiar sentiment. Usually I weigh whether I need to explain the history and context of stats to posters like you, but then I find that the context gets completely ignored and a throw-in comment gets more scrutinized. The conversation is usually filled with bad faith arguments, making me question why I engage.

Oddly enough, what is being missed here is that it's more impressive that Ben can get 15 assists in a playoff game without a Steph, Klay or Durant. Especially with Joel and Tobias heavily being isolation players as opposed to off ball catch and shoot players like those three can be. So what he's doing in addition to them is even more valuable. He's getting the others going without the luxury those type of lethal offensive players opening things up for him and creating space or finishing from the perimeter.

Ben was their best player today. Philly needing another go to scorer can still be a truth, without degrading that other fact.

Being someone that was a huge Kidd fan, I have appreciation for his game. His size may make him better and more effective on both ends than Kidd.

Also, considering Beale's health, I think that the Wizards tanked to get the 8th seed and not the 7th.

Ben was their best player? Were we watching different games? Tobias was much better. So was Joel when he was playing.

I think criticism of Ben is being misconstrued with absolutely finding him worthless. He's still a good defender and is able to get into the lane (and promptly pass it out). He also played the most minutes. I would hope he'd generate assists because he's completely petrified of taking it up in traffic and if he does try to score, it's a lame hook shot.

He has a lot of value, but his current value is something I'd trade instantly for a competent scorer who gets his own buckets.

Maxey can do that while also be a threat at scoring.

Additionally, I didn't construct this team. I've also been extremely critical of the fact that we only have 1 guard (Maxey) who can create his own offense on this team, so I'm not sure what point you're making here.

Yes, mercifully. Hard to be excited about a close home win against a truly bad team who played terribly.

I'd trade Ben too. If you can trade up, like for Leonard. For Lavine? They'd have to send other assets.

But Tobias had a career night scoring the ball and Joel did his thing, and yet Ben was still more effective overall to the win perhaps both offensively and defensively. IMO

I wonder who Doc rolls with off the bench, going forward in this series.

Korkmaz had a weird role today.

Players who only create their own offense do nothing for the rest of the team. You haven't noticed ALL the best players are playmakers for others?

I'm done with your ignorance, will be ignoring you in the future.
