That's how it's played. Both sides, both ends.
Post game interview was ridiculous though
Heat almost stole one and but they should
hold at home. Series could go 7 games.

I love hard fought series, they are great to watch but I don't like when the Cs have to go through them because it drains them when they move on (Tor to Mia series last season). I'm more invested when other teams have to go 6 or 7 games, most of the time I stop watching them if it looks like a sweep is inevitable.

Kawhi Leonard has rings. Paul George is the most ridiculed superstar player in the history of the league though. Dude got clowned hard last year.

Except when people forget that when it comes to criticism of the Jays, there are always comments about how "stars wouldn't have a game like that!" with plenty of and1 to accompany them. I have had to bring up last seasons playoffs where in game 7 both PG and KL didn't score more than 15 each (IIRC). Let a Jay do that in the regular season and look at the reaction. They have to be good/great every game or it's as if they aren't worthy of accolades.

Saying KL is a champ just further proves my point, even the best have terrible games and some have many in a row (Playoff P)! Stop expecting the Jays to never have them. JT barely had an off stretch in shooting after coming back from COVID and look at all the crap people said.

I'm not saying they don't deserve criticism, I'm saying people could at least try and be fair about it, stop putting other stars on pedestals while only using their good to criticize Jays when they have bad games. I don't want to question whether people watch other stars enough, but something doesn't add up. It doesn't matter whether people put the young Jays verses the 27 or older or guys in their age range, they judge them on an unrealistic level. I see Comedian has to bring up stats all the time in defense of JT.

I'm not even talking about those who shall not be named, they hate just to hate because they don't like a guy, that's a category all on its own.

Yeah I don't know of some of the JT detractors simply don't watch any other teams and don't realize other superstar players also have occasional bad games. Or, more likely, they understand that but just can't help piling on JT after a bad game just because they dislike him and have to take advantage when it happens since he doesn't have a bad game very often. All humans have off days, guys. Even the elite NBA humans.

Agreed. And not only are those types of series hard on our guys, but they’re also hard on me. I’m pretty sure the series against the Bulls in 2009 shaved a few years off my lifespan.

That's been LBJ's luck nearly every year. Either not very talented teams or injured, or both.
Good assessment:

PLO wrote:Tatum played OK - took advantage of a few mismatches - decent on the defensive end. He is what we thought he was going into the season - a technically very proficient player operating close to his career ceiling as a rookie.

For the record, if Boston doesn't win it (I know, I know) I want Phoenix or Utah.. F the ratings..

suns are playing well but they are also letting lebron coast in his matchup, he'll have enough in the tank for a good run or 2 late.

Whoever in the Lakers organization thought, "after winning the NBA Finals, I think adding Andre Drummond would even improve our chances of repeating," should be fired. Vogel playing along with that thought and actually putting him on the floor. AD should be playing center.

From what I've seen, AD's been really soft this year. Dude's a jump shooting big who shies away from contact. If his shot doesn't go in, he's not all that useful, as he's more of a consumer on offense, not a creator.
