I think we have the slimmest of slim chances of catching the Sox. 6 game lead, 3 games left against 'em.....best we can finish in my mind is a game behind & even that is a stretch.

If cleveland beat LA tonight, they will be right behind the Angels record wise. We need to be rooting for cleveland the rest of the way so they can finish ahead of LA. Let Boston play LA and we get cleveland in the division series. Thats our best case scenario.

Its out of reach, we're only 2 up on Detroit we need to pull away from them before we worry about a team thats 5.5 up on us.

Dakka you don't get it....just to finish in a tie we need to go 10-2 while Boston would have to go 6-5. Do I think we can go 10-2? eh...I don't know. Do I think Boston is going to only go 6-5 especially if Manny comes back soon? Eh I don't know about that either.

Well if Cleveland sweeps Detroit and we sweep Baltimore we would be only 1 1/2 game back I believe. Easier said than done, I know. However, with a few games left 1 1/2 is achievable. I'm cautiously optimistic but still excited at the potential for us to drop Boston on the last day of the season into the wild card slot. Again weirder things have happened.

Then hopefully we play Cleveland in the ALDS and then Boston in the ALCS. Then the Mets in the World Series. I like our chances if it shakes out like that. If we play Detroit or Anaheim, I really don't like our chances. Remember half-full and not half-empty. -Jitpal

Spelling today "2day" is slang. Spelling today "2dai" is just dumb. Its requires the exact same amount of typing & the "y" is closer to the "a" than the "i" is.
