This Suns crowd is loud! Man I’ve missed playoff crowds.

Oh come on man. Really hope Paul is okay and it’s just a stinger.

I don't know how Drummond convinces people he's not a huge negative.

That was kind of dirty from CP3.

Chris Paul with one arm and no ability to shoot still out played Anthony Davis.

I'm a bit worried about the defensive adjustments. Lakers will go in knowing CP3 can't shoot anymore and defense is their real calling card.

It remains to be seen if Paul's injury will linger.

But yeah, Suns probably should have benched him in the last few minutes as Paul was killing their offense.

Can't be the top ranked defense and let Ayton/Booker do that to you.

Looking forward to see what changes Lakers make. Suns absolutely look like they'll beat down the Lakers if Davis continues to be mediocre.

That is if, which may very well be the most likely outcome, Paul doesn’t find a cure for his shoulder. I have to say that if he is healthy I am feeling very good about Phoenix’s chances to win the series although knowing Lebron the games will get tougher as the series go on.

They were already throwing the kitchen sink at Booker and still getting burnt to a crisp.

I still think Gasol needs to start.

Very nice to see the young Suns being the driving force of that win, think they'll need a bit more from the bench as the playoffs go on, but in this one Booker/Ayton were both spectacular.

And what an awful game from AD.

I generally couldn’t tell this was the same player (AD) from last year’s playoffs if I were able to sit down and just watch film from both years (disregarding the obvious similarities in their physical appearance lol).

It's definitely the same player from the rest of 2020-21, barring a handful of games towards the end.

No disagreements there; thought he might turn it up clearly in the playoffs because I’ve always gotten the feel from AD that he takes the regular season really lightly in comparison the the playoffs.

I didn't watch as much of him as a Pelican obviously, but at a glance this looks like easily his worst prime season. We're talking about a guy who's made All-NBA First Team four of the last six years, and he's looked nowhere near that level.

i am guessing vogel is not an analytics believer and is more of an old school basketball mmentality who sees big centers who grab lots of rebounds and plays back to the basket and falls in love

either that, or davis is demanding drummond plays?

Trae Young getting the GW. Good weekend for his draft class. Luka, Ayton, and him all winning G1.
