Dude wtf.

Are you grabbing it on PC? I am real interested in grabbing it, but kind of want to wait out and see how it’s running, maybe grab it during a sale.

I am. From what I've heard so far, PC is the smoothest experience as the framerate is uncapped and people have gotten some great numbers from higher-end machines, but it sounds pretty good on PS5 too (and I presume XSX).

PC for me, though, both for potential modding and I'll be travelling a bit in the upcoming couple months now.

Holy buckets the Steam reviews are not promising so far. All of the non-Steam reviews looked great, and it seems most people are saying there are no GFX options right now to lower the settings for mid or lower-end systems. Which absolutely sucks...but I'm personally a little less worried about.

Going to do a bit more research tonight before I pull the trigger on PC vs. PS5.

Oh yeah. Bad reviews, bad sales. They didn’t even give it DLC.

That game was stupid. just pretend it didn't happen. Good gameplay, but it just wasnt thought out. For example even their ship - Tempest I believe it was called, it was so unrealistic that people could live there, it literally had no room. With Normandy, you believed all that crew was on that ship. Another blasphemous thing for a ME game, there was no choice between being renegade or paragon, your guy was basically just a boy scout with no replayablity, and the lore between how they got the science to travel to different galaxy was such a reach, everything up until that point in ME universe was believable I would say, the plot in ME Andromeda was just gamie BS. I know some people like that game, its really not a bad game, but its really bad for ME standards.

What is the cheapest way for me and my girlfriend to play a split screen zombie game on PS4?

I thought of a few great co-op zombie games (Dying Light is forever underrated), but split screen wasn’t an option. Some Googling and the best co-op split screen zombie games I could find for PS4 are Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 and Resident Evil 5.

Not a long list, not a recent list, and only one is truly a zombie game while the other just has a zombie mode. I guess I’d say go RE5 of those two options as Activision still lists Blops 3 for $60 and RE5 is $20.

Gotta say, really not wild about being in the middle of my best ever Returnal run (by a huge amount!) and the game erroring out on me.

Yeah it actually does. The golf itself looks like a carbon copy of HSG - which I say as a good thing. I'm likely in.

ETA: Just learned the developer made the first HSG before Clap Hanz took over. So this makes sense.

I looked into this more and it’s described as an “Action-Shooter RPG.” Looks like it might have some Diablo in its blood which fares better by me than a straight twin stick shooter.

This was the preview I read that made it sound like a twin stick shooter.

I can't decide if Biomutant looks awesome or terrible.

Game interests me in that it was announced a while ago now and it’s trying to do something kind of weird and different at an AAA budget. Won’t get it day one, but if it reviews well I can nab it on sale later.

I have it preordered on Steam. My wife loves cats. Looks like it could be fun but she's pretty excited for it.

It was completely off my radar until now. Looks amazing. Gonna wait for reviews.

Looks like Biomutant is a solid 6 or 7 out of 10 type game from reviews. Highly flawed and repetitive, but also I didn’t know the team that made this was only 20 people. It’s like an indie team but allowed to make an AAA game and that’s kind of wild. Maybe a deep sale game if the developers get to support it for a while and patch it with QoL improvements.

For a game to look as good as Biomutant does but be so incredibly basic is a bummer. Looks like one to skip.

This is interesting, though.

Too bad about Biomutant. The video looked kinda fun. I'll wait and pick it up on sale in a few months.
