LOL
I mean...we could easily lose one of the games in Boston. I've seen so many series that look like sweeps after the first two games that end up at least going 5 or 6 games.
I'd be impressed with a sweep, because that means that we'd be locked in and mentally tough even on the road. I'm expecting more ISOs from our stars on the road since role players usually perform worse on the road during the playoffs.
Game 3 will be a pride game for Boston as they definitely will fight to avoid getting swept. I can absolutely see them going all out and their role players feeding off of the crowd's energy. Meanwhile, I expect our role players to struggle a little considering that most of them haven't played in meaningful playoff away games.
If we go more ISO heavy with our stars in a tough environment, things probably won't flow as smoothly on offense, and we'll struggle a bit. I could see us we losing Game 3.
If we lost Game 3, I expect adjustments in Game 4. Boston will still fight and it will come down to whether our adjustments beat out their momentum and home energy at home.
While you obviously want to play as few games as possible to reduce the chance of suffering injury, I'd just like to see us close it out in at most 5 games. A 5-game series means that we will have won one game in Boston. I think it's really important for us, but especially the role players to know what it takes to perform and win on the road in the playoffs when the crowd is against you. It would test their mettle and only make them better in the long run for having gone through that experience.
