Rui can't afford fault trouble he should put in gill to spell him and eat some fouls while it's a close game and beals hot.

Simmons is dominating both ends without having a semblance of a jumpshot.

Yeah we are going to get smoked this series with Brooks game plan.

Philly hunted Rui down. It was clear Doc instructed his team to flop any time they were near him. Smart.

Let's get even smaller with Ish and Neto on the floor. Brooks going to Brooks. Don't care about the size of the opponent. If I'm going to go down, I'm going down small. Play the way we got here, which was go small ball.

Doc's gameplan is simple. Post up the smaller guys or take Bertans off the dribble because he can't defend.

We are so outmatched in size and physical strength…very pathetic

You have to have guards a ton of guards off the bench that can create their shot and have swag if you have any hope of making small work against a team with elite size. We don’t have that, you don’t have to be a savant to get that.

Bertans is in the game and hasn't touched the ball but one time on offense.

Alright Russ. It's the playoffs. Wake up. Stop taking mid-rangers early in the shot clock. You're not playing in Cleveland in February.

The good will that Westbrook built up is starting to fade. Playoff Westbrook appears to be a real thing.

Folks blame Brooks for this. But a) Philly is staying home on Bertans, and b) he's not that nice off the ball. Let's not pretend like he's cutting like Rip, and Brooks and his PGs are flat out ignoring him. When Davis gets the ball, more often that not he has a defender his his chest. Some of that is on him.80sballboy wrote:Bertans is in the game and hasn't touched the ball but one time on offense.

Btw, Hutch needs to just do Mikan drills all off season. He can work on his 3 point shot the following season. For now, just develop touch around the basket.

Of course he is seeing attention, but doesn't mean you can't set a screen or double screen. I think if he gets the ball early, he can get hot. If he's in the game for awhile and never touches it, he's f-ing worthless.

They're running actions for him. He doesn't always get separation.80sballboy wrote:keynote wrote:Folks blame Brooks for this. Not a good sign down six without Simmons and Embiid on the floor. That's where you have to tie it or take the lead. Now they are back.

Simmons in and we go back to a small 3 guard lineup. Is there anyone that can play devil's advocate and make sense of this lineup vs Philly of all teams??
