If they really wanna keep building around WB/Beal they better trade Bertans for someone who can play defense and shoot the 3 decently (no need for a sharpshooter and Bertans isn't even that special in the modern NBA).

Beal is scoring but the lead is still increasing... Won't matter if he scores 50 if we keep trading 2 for 3

Where's Mathews???

In order for us to win, we need Beal AND Russ to be at their best, and our role players all playing their roles to perfection.

We’ll take a game this series because I think the scenario above WILL happen once but not 4 times.

Maybe. But if the Sixers are 100% into each game and they may not be in Game 3, this will be a sweep. Anthony Gill and Isaac Bonga are not going to be the difference though starting Neto instead of name your bigger player (Hutchison, Bertans, Gill, etc.) is not a wise move.

Either way, when the SIxers are on their game and focused, they are not going to be beaten unless one of their top three players are injured.

I hold-out hope that Bertans under a different coach and system will get better looks/opportunities since he can't do anything else but shoot a 3

At this point, I want Brooks gone, so if we get swept or lose in five, it's fine as long as he's gone. HOWEVER, there are more issues than just Brook's coaching as we can see in this series. We should never ever be satisfied to be a 4th or 5th seed, which is what we'll be with a few minor changes, Bryant back, an improved Deni and Rui, a mid-range first-rounder and a small-change FA (barring no major key injuries).

That's an important consideration. No one knows if Bertrans can actually play more like a Duncan Robinson, because the current Wizards offense is distinctly iso heavy.

We need regular season Russ to make an appearance.

He's getting defended as soon as he gets off the bus, so sure, they need to find ways to get him open, even if it's just for layups. I doubt he'll ever change. You know. How about a step back? Improve your handle, get in the gym a little more and get stronger. He's got that huge deal so no big incentive.

Kutcher: “You know Scott Brooks had a stern talking to to his team at halftime.”

Uhh, Justin, do you know absolutely anything about how Scott Brooks operates? He hasn’t said a stern word to a member of his team all season.

Neto is struggling tonight. We need him to get hot.

Russ, isn’t it enough that you’ve missed almost every shot you’ve taken? But to just stop playing defense on Danny Green leading to him being WIDE open for a 3 is ridiculous.

Wouldn't mind it if Rui took a mildly contested 3.

It’s hard to win when you shoot nearly 50% from the free throw line and you are only 1 for 14 in three point shooting. Ugh.

Did Garrison Matthews pass away? At this point, might as well play him instead of Neto.

Game ovah. Might as well put in Cassius Winston. Team is just getting boat raced and showing no effort on D.

Ish Smith just going to get his. Like what the f-ck are we watching. Dude gets the ball, races down the floor, dribbles 20 times and jacks one up.

I wonder if Ish Smith ever wonders WHY he is open so often.

Does it think that the other team just keeps forgetting about him?
