I know he's young and has had injuries, but I'm thoroughly unimpressed with Jaren Jackson Jr with what he's shown so far. Getting absolutely torched on defense and on the glass. Gobert just eating his lunch, and Utah guards having a field day putting him in the PnR and attacking him in space. And defense is supposed to be JJJ's calling card.

Offensively, he's awkward and uncoordinated, with no real skill around the basket. Just looks so slow and unathletic. Seems to shoot well from 3 though, but that basically just makes him like any stretch big that can't do much else.

Yeah though it easily could of been an offensive foul, so atleast Memphis got a point in that exchange.

Props to Memphis for fighting back in the 3rd. Next two games they'll have the fans at their backs. JV and Brooks being taken out due to fouls really hurt us tonight, but it was cool seeing Ja go off for 40pts and counting. Here's to hoping Allen gets on the wrong plane and misses the next game or two. Good player who I don't mind occasionally using in the playoffs as a spark off the bench, but his current usage is too much. Got targeted on the defensive end like crazy tonight.

Meh I’m genuinely neutral since I consider the Jazz underdogs in general for the championship. Would rather they win it than an LA or east team
