Lol ok? So we going back that far now? Series would be 2-0 if Memphis never drafted Thabeet. Am I playing this game right?

Their bench is tough and switchy defensively, but offensively they're unreliable.

Ja is wild, super fun to watch play. Watching Rudy/JV go at it has a pretty classic feel to it, though the refs interject at the oddest times (both ways). Anderson super funky player, love his rhythm. Allen/Brooks not really my types of dudes, but the energy is certainly there.

Grizz have got a lot to look forward to regardless of how the rest of the series goes.

Hi friend, do you have a moment to talk about screen assists?

Your bigotry is showing. Might want to check that at the door. I was born and raised in Utah as a non-Mormon so don't hit me back on that.

So if you're Utah, do you let Ja get his and freeze the rest?

Still believe Jazz lacks that physical perimeter defender to put clamps on quick, athletic guards.

Hats off to Memphis, finished with the 15th best record in the NBA, 9th in guy West, bought they fought very hard first two games and split the games.

Yeah, JV was the better call. Like Deron Williams v Chris Paul.

1. Jazz got some calls but nothing that really changed the outcome or flow of the game
2. Ja is the best young PG in the game, followed by LaMelo

Warriors would have been down 0-2 by now

I know right? None of those players have ever seen a guard go for a career high against their team, never

Murray averaged Elgin Baylor numbers for an entire series. Ja is on pace to do the same.

Rudy is great in drop coverage and it's won him his Dpoys but teams mostly run that in the regular season

He doesn't have the versatility, speed, coordination or footwork to excel in other schemes like Bam, Giannis, Draymond, Ben, Ad etc.

We switch with him all the time and he does great.

Rudy is in the 83rd percentile in defending isolation plays: https://www.nba.com/stats/players/isolation/?SeasonType=Regular%20Season&TypeGrouping=defensive&sort=PERCENTILE&dir=1

and he defends 1.2 isolation possessions a game which is one of the top rates in the NBA.

Bam is 73rd percentile
Draymond is 98th
Giannis is 23rd
Simmons is 78th

Those isolations are usually coming off switches, or when teams get out in transition and reset. Gobert is really good at containing perimeter players, and good at doing it off the switch. Is he the best switch defender in the league? No, he isn't, but he is still really good in that regard, and on PnRs he can contain the ball handler and the roller at the same time on many plays.

So the Mormons (and the Witnessess for that matter) that came to my door weren't legit? I am confused.

As good as Donovan was offensively his defense is really bad. He has the size, athleticism and wingspan to be far better than he is defensively.

No Wade comp should be attached to him until he can be a good defender at the least. His defense was horrible last playoffs too.
