Why so serious man? Lighten up buddy!

I don't know what it is about this forum, but everyone is so glum.

Um, maybe it's because you' are kind of a jerk to everyone? I mean I never engage with you so it's not my hurt feelings, but I see you talking down to and disrespecting people here day in and day out. That just possibly might have something to do with your "humor" not landing quite right.

Just a thought

Huh, so I post a tweet that doesn't insult anyone here *at all* and am immediately jumped on by several forum members, called "shameless", etc.

Yeah, I guess I'm the jerk.

You are most of the time. But I do care about your opinion.

I stomped on the nuance by using the word "jerk"

Let's say instead that you have largely eschewed the social component of participation in this forum. You can't then be surprised or feel victimized when you get received in the same manner in which you have presented yourself. I'm not here to fight with you about your personality. You asked why your benign joke got so much pushback. It's because you are not a benign presence here. That is a choice you remain free to make, but it's not very compatible with trying to have humor well received.

I take it back too. Name calling isn't cool and that's my bad. Apologies.

I mean the answer is Kawhi for the MIN pick and other draft picks. Ideally convince them to let us keep Wiseman.

Curry
Klay
Kawhi
Green
Wiseman

I think that becomes a question of how far into the future do those picks go. Would you do 6-7 years out plus our picks this year and Wiseman?

Who does the Jedi mind trick to make the league office ignore the collective bargaining agreement?

EDIT: I read this incorrectly the first time, and thought you were suggesting getting Kawhi while keeping *Wiggins*. I still don't think this is happening, but it doesn't seem completely crazy anymore heh

I’m late to the party but the coffee shop thing was obviously a joke to me because I remember that d-bag who tried to frame Robert Mueller and is a Trump-Shan used to do it on Twitter all the time.

One name who could be available is Jaylen Brown. But knowing how Ainge operates we’d have to trade Curry

Yeah, I think it was a riff on Jacob Wohl..... he’s the d-bag you referenced.

2 things, the TPMLE is not that big, and Batum and Kaminsky would have to WANT to play for the Warriors.

My subsequent post addressed both of these.......

I read it, how did it address Batum not wanting to be a Warrior?

See the posts by marthafokker and Sam Lowry Jr, which immediately followed yours, and echoed what I had said.

It’s been reasonably well-sourced that there was mutual interest between Batum and Warriors in the past, and no reason to suggest that would have changed.

Yup that’s him. Last I remember one of his schemes had facing possible jail time. Would be awesome if it happens

So how are we getting Kawhi without giving up Wiggins?

Kawhi/PG/Butler might be available and each of these guys instead of Wiggins would make us a top 3 team-with Kawhi the Warriors should be the title favorites. So let us hope at least one of them becomes available.
If not, then the next option is to get one of Sabonis and Wood and keep Wiggins. This team should still be the second best team in the west and have a chance against any team.

All I saw was media speculation, nothing from Batum. What Batum DID say in the media was that he saw the Clippers as the best place for him and he loves playing with Ibaka and they talk to each other in french on the floor all the time. I think it's an extreme stretch to think the Warriors are any kind of lock to be on Batum's wish list.

If Clippers want Wiseman they can have him. If we get Kawhi, we'll have plenty of vets who will want to come and chase rings.

Straight up that's an easy trade. But you've got to get the league to look the other way.

they will need to have him. We can't pay Wiseman 10m for running up and down the floor. spend it on 2 vets and we will be a better team

that's not how the salary cap works.

but IF Kawhi wants to join the Warriors I would include Wiseman/Wiggins and the picks.
