Throw everything we have not named Jimmy and Bam, and acquire Bradley Beal.
WHO LEAVES?
- Tyler Herro,
- Duncan Robinson,
- Kendrick Nunn,
- and a bunch of draft picks, and whatever else we have to throw in.
DO WHAT WE HAVE TO DO, TO ACQUIRE BRADLEY BEAL!
Then re-build around that core of Beal-Butler-Bam. This is what we need. It's the best way to get back into contention next year.

Well it's never good to act desperate.
Beal would be a great get, but giving up multipole firsts and swaps for him? You have to be sure a Beal/Jimmy/Bam led team is a legit finals contender for years. I do like his fit here a lot, but I'm not sure he's even a top 20 player in the NBA.
Right now it doesn't even look like he wants out of Washington, which kills our leverage.
Kawhi is a free agent, so maybe we get a miracle there.

It's not going to happen. If anything, he's taking the Supermax extension with the Wizards. Beal had the opportunity to make the call, and he chose to ride with Washington.
