There is reason why Raptors won nba title after trading JV for old slow Marc gasol. JV although great rebounder, he is probably one of the worst pick & role defenders in the league.

I think JJJ is off balance and unfamiliar with his body. He grew this summer and never had a chance to reconfigure himself until about 12 games ago. And that dude can't afford to have anything throw off his already precarious balance.

Memphis is doing well to be down only by 11. Neither Mitchell, nor Clarkson went off. In fact, Mitchell barely played.

I'm guessing the Jazz have Mitchell on a minutes restriction and they're saving him to go ape **** if they need it late in the game.

Give me 1 reason why ESPN should have a bias towards Memphis? They’re as much of a small market as Utah but also an 8 seed

The appeal of JV is that he's amazingly efficient scoring at the rim. Gobert takes some of that away, but the Grizzlies aren't playing through him.

How is that doing well ? They down 11 and two best scorers on Jazz have yet to produce. GRIZZ should be up by 11 the way they played so far, but unfortunately Jazz are just to good of team for this young Grizz team.

Well Hubie used to coach the Grizz way back in the day when he won a COTY so that would be the only possibility for a bias

Otherwise don’t rly think the grizz are much of a cause for ESPN bias in general
