Dame was taking low quality shots...fade away mid range jumpers, fade to the side contested 3 pointers....but he almost got a triple double. I don't really care if he scores a lot of points as long as the team is scoring. He was +33.

Oftentimes these types of relatively even balanced series are won by the other players for Dame and
Jokic are going to cancel each other out. I keep waiting to see if CJ will break out with a 30 point
game as he did in 2019.

Nuggets could've gone from favorites to overwhelming favorites by winning games 1 and 2, but they lost 1. Blazers could have flipped the script from underdog to favorites had we won games 3 and 4, but we only got 1 win. Game 5 is an opportunity for either team to become the overwhelming favorite to win the series. The winner of game 5 is the probable winner of the series.

If this series is going to be decided by who wins the mismatch between Blazers dwarf forwards and Nuggets giant forwards, it looks like Blazers are going to win. Nuggets should try inserting Millsap or Green, because the MJP and Gordon pairing is beat.

I’m expecting a 6 game series. If it goes 7, I wouldn’t bet against Lillard with the Nuggets. But 5 is the game.

Remember though in game 5 of the 2019 playoff series, Portland got blown out in Denver but won
game six in Portland and game seven in Denver with CJ getting 37 points.

These two teams are evenly matched but Denver is missing both guards that started against Portland
with Jamal Murray's torn ACL a real problem for Denver to overcome in these playoffs. The winner
is likely going to get the Lakers who if healthy will pound either team that wins this series.

Game 7 is completely realistic. I see both teams being close to figuring it out and closing the door with 6. The Blazers more likely than the Nuggets.

WHAT would I love to see? 1st round exits for the Clippers and Lakers, both. That would be fun.
