Fact of the matter is, Kyrie opened his big mouth, turned a BASKETBALL SERIES (that we were kicking asses in) into a Social Justice event, obviously the media eats that sh*t up and instantly changed the narrative from the Nets waxing the Celtics to Boston is notorious for its racism (which may be true, but this was not the time or place for it), so now instead of being in a playoff series with the Celtics, we were at a BLM vs the Celtics rally, all thanks to Kyrie's big mouth, so he, OF ALL NETS, had an obligation to deliver his A-Game in Game 3. KD and Harden backed his play, BUT HE DIDN'T. He kicked that hornets nest, then played like trash.

That's why we lost. Sure there were other reasons and blaming Steve Nash is the most convenient excuse of them all, but if Kyrie had simply shut his big mouth and kept it to basketball, OR SHOWED UP, we'd be up 3-0.

What's he gonna do for his next trick, skip Game 4 for his sisters, husbands, second cousins birthday party?

All year it's been the same thing. Kyrie has his own agenda and he NEVER puts the team ahead of his agenda.

Kyrie saying that he hoped that the crowd wouldn't throw racial slurs at him, which Boston fans are notorious for doing, has jack **** to do with why we lost.

Allowing Jason Tatum to feast on switch everything mismatches and Steve Nash not bothering to adjust is the main reason why we lost. What are you even talking about dude?

Maybe YOU need to focus on basketball because you're attributing a loss to something that had nothing to do with what took place on the court. Read what you wrote. It's utterly non sensical. Kyrie didn't shoot well but he moved the ball when he was being doubled and kept the turnovers to 1. But regardless of what he did on offense, it's that fact that Nash allowed him and Joe Harris to get mauled by Tatum is a bigger reason than anything else. BLM, social justice, that has dick all to do with what happened on the floor or explain why Nash didn't bother to adjust. Your take is disingenuous at best, it holds no weight versus the facts.

We aren't winning a title with this guy at the helm. He's too slow to react.

Bro we tried that and roll players like Smart and Kemba were making their open jumpers first game. Double teaming Tatum ain't the option. Have to play your man better and rotate when switch comes. We did neither things good and lack of effort was glaring.

Our role players need to be better, nothing else. Joe, Shamet, Blake and few others just can't suck they way they did.

I'm not mad by any means. To be frank I wont mind us go 6 simply because we need some rhythm. That Bucks team is different animal, probably best team right now.

I'm not saying that what Kyrie said wasn't true. It was, anyone who knows anything about the history of Boston sports fans knows it was true. I'm just saying it wasn't necessary to bring it up NOW, when we had the Celtics number, were killing them in this series, and shutting down their best player too. EVERYTHING was going our way, so why give them ANYTHING to rally around? KD is not only a great player, he's also smart. He knows that you let a sleeping dog lie. That's why he went out of his way to compliment the Celtics after we blew them out in Game 2. Instead of taking credit for shutting down Tatum, which was mostly KD's assignment, he flowered him with roses and called him a great player who is also missing shots he can easily make. He could have taken a bow for playing such great defense on Tatum, but instead he gave him NOTHING to rally around.

And this is not a second guess on my part.

I said, before Game 3, that I was worried Kyrie's comments might backfire on us.

This loss was honestly horrifying.

Blaming our offense is honestly stupid. We should be able to overcome a poor shooting night from Kyrie if Harden and KD are putting up 40.

Defense and rebounding effort wasn't there. I was fine with it in the regular season, but **** around in the playoffs is just stupid

We had them down 19-4 and could have basically ended it right then and there.

Should have doubled Tatum and played hard defense on him after the First Half. Force the ball out of his hands. Make someone else beat you and live with the results.

We shall see if this game is a wake up call or part of a larger trend that we will keep seeing in the playoffs. We won't win if we play like this vs Milwaukee.

Lastly, I am tired of Joe Harris's bum ass. He always chokes in the playoffs. Doesn't make wide open shots and is useless at everything else. Sick of him doing nothing when it matters most.

Let's hope that a loss stings enough for us to tighten up our level of play.

Kemba is questionable for Game 4, we don't need any additional advantage but we have it. If we were distracted by the crowd on Friday, the crowd will be twice the size due to recently lifted restrictions.

We need to lock in on defensive principles, share the ball and box out. Shooting will take care of itself if we do those things, and we need to stop hanging our identity on whether jumpers fall.

Kai made his statement. I'm okay with it. He also stunk up the gym. Honestly, I'm also okay with that. I wish he could "stick to sports", especially if that bright about his best self. But it doesn't, and it's not fair to ask him to couch his beliefs. Irving's best form seems to be tied to his ability to speak his mind. It doesn't always directly correlate, but I would guess getting the truth off his chest will help him and us going forward.
Some people really have a way with words. Other people... not... have... way.

I think I a big part of the role players struggles including Harris shooting is the iso heavy play style. When you don't run enough set plays and players only have to stand around the lose rhythm and focus. I don't know if any role player actually made a bucket in the second half lol. Harris started well the last couple of games and went ice cold the longer the game went on.

Biggest issue is still the defense though. I agree with most that's being said here. You have to adjust to Tatum going nuts. Nash didn't, but I was disappointed of Durant, too. I think when you are kind of the team leader and the best defensive fit, you should step up and take pride in guarding him. He switched as soon as the Celtics showed a pick. It was way too easy.
The lack of team rebounding doent help either.
