Just one more.......I just need one more win. Of course if we win one more I might need another but we will cross that bridge when we get to it.

We dodge a bullet by not trading for A.Gordon. He’s useless

He would suck here. Athletic finisher who can't shoot. Who in Boston is setting Gordon up with the kind of dimes he gets from Jokic? Fournier is way better.

I posted this on Page 12 of the Game 3 Victory Cigar Thread but it really applies to the series going forward:
Smart and Kemba will have to pass the ball to Nesmith and Pritchard when they are wide open for something Magical to happen. Right now they look them off, and dump the ball to them when the play is breaking down and coverage is tightening up.
Not the way a well oiled offense runs. Like I said, until Smart and Kemba start passing the ball to the two rooks IMMEDIATELY WHEN THEY"RE wide open, the Celtics don't have a chance to win this series without Brown. Fencer gonna jump in with the rooks shooting percentages in the playoffs, but it's meaningless with all the open looks they've been denied by their own teammates. They will have to be part of the offense like Miami's Duncan Robinson was last year in order for the Celtics to win this series. And that will take Stevens sitting Smart and Kemba down and telling them to pass the damn ball when the rooks are wide open, and not when the play has gone bust.

It's possible the Celtics win Game 4. They played well in Game 1 and Game 3, and I think the home crowd has a positive impact on our younger team. But man they need a good game from Kemba. I don't know what's up with him, his body language screams a lack of confidence. He needs to get his **** together.

For those who say Kemba has to get better, due to averages, then Smart will go really bad too.

Those playoff shooting numbers, slightly helped this year by the New Jersey starting guards having no interest in defense.
The Celtics winning one game does mean lifetime max contracts for everyone.
Or at least it shouldn't.
If Kemba does not play, his shooting won't improve.
Not sure the team will improve, but small sample size for the other guards.
Maybe the New Jersey/Brooklyn Nets can't win without Jeff Green?
In the series:
James Harden Offensive Rating, 152.
Semi Ojeleye, 0.

That's a really good point. Vets can do that for sure but these guys have been alongside them all season and they won't win if they don't trust each other.

Kemba is questionable, that’s great news! If they can convince him not to play we have a much better chance of winning this game.

So far Kemba is #10 of the 15 C's who have played in the series in TS%.
JT is #9 and only RL, TW, AN, PP and SO are lower.
The problem has not been a lack of shooting options on the roster.

I just want to point out there wasn't a pasta poll before games 1 and 2, and there was before game 3. Read into that what you will.

We made it a series with our last win. We need to keep it a series and keep it realistic with another win in game 4 though.

lets keep the opposing team to at least 1 less point than us at the full time siren. If we do that we have a chance.
