So uh, to state the obvious, it would be super cool if the giant crowd wills us to victory and we tie up the series and get the Nets doubting themselves.

Marcus Smart = Captain America
Jayson Tatum = Thor
Kemba = Iron Man

Thanos = Durant
Ebony Maw = Kyrie

Fans at the Garden = everyone coming through the portals.

No way bro. Kemba is one of those knock off bootleg iron man's that they were trying to replicate in the middle east, would go like 18 inches off the ground and explode.

Yeah, Kemba isn't even in that scene. He tripped on a rock and twisted his ankle, then he walked through the wrong portal.

I’m very excited the combination of a sellout crowd and the game.

If (big if lol) they tie this thing up tonight? I bet it goes 7.

Really if he could give us smarts numbers from last game that would help because I don’t see smart going for 20+ and shooting that well today. Our whole team is not gonna shoot that well again. We were killing it last game shooting wise.

Harden and Durant went for 80 points. It’s not like they had quiet games and they are gonna get theirs but we can’t let Blake and more importantly joe Harris kill us. If Harris gets 16+ it’s a loss. I expect kyrie to have a 30 pointer but we can’t let ALL 3 go off

Really smart take. Keeping Harris and Irving, and anyone else, under 20 gives us a chance. Durant and Harden will get theirs but reducing the factor of the other 2 starters plus a random bench player puts us in striking distance.

I only expected us to win one game in this series but this is why. The Nets are just a mentally and physically soft team. Add Nash to that equation and they have tons of risks. I really can't see them beating a team like the Sixers, even Milwaukee will give them tons of trouble imo.

But **** my expectations. LETS GOOOOO

I expect NJ to lose to either Philly or Milwaukee. They can't even handle Tristan Thompson; wait until Embiid starts exploiting that huge hole in the Nets' middle. As for the Bucks, they probably can't handle Brook Lopez either, and they have no one to guard Giannis. Durant will try, but probably fail. Giannis will beat Durant down the floor repeatedly.

LOL, that assumes that the Nets will get by the Celtics.

I would expect DeAndre Jordan playing more
2 things need to go.. my lack of spell check and Joe.. :nod:

Someone I was really close to in high school died suddenly yesterday. I was part of a group that chilled together every day for 3/4 years, nonstop smoking weed and playing ball lol. I mostly went my separate ways after HS, unfortunately. It’s crazy how even though it was 15 years ago or so, still hurts like hell. The rest of that group stayed inseparable the whole time, and the one I’m still close to is hurting so badly. Hate seeing people hurting like that, I’m a bit of an empath, as well.

Anyways the point is, the dude who passed was a MASSIVE Celtics fan, so them winning tonight would mean a bit extra to me.

Giannis will beat down Durant physically, not only down the court. He's just so much stronger. I don't think that's a good matchup for Durant(to guard).
Good assessment:

Condolences to both of you, it's always tragic when somebody passes before their time :( Strength to you both and hoping you get the pick-me-up result you're hoping for.

From the conspiracy corner; we are now the only team East with a chance to push it to 7 games. NBA could easily call a game heavy in our favor to stretch the series while knowing Brooklyn will likely win anyways. Victimless crime, so to speak. Just something to watch.
