The whole season was catered around getting Kemba days off so he would be “ready” for the playoffs.

I know kemba sucks but I still would rather him be out there at least at first. He does have the ability to get hot and have a great game... That being said, after watching him play last game I'm not overly upset he isn't playing this game. My god was he awful last game.......How did we win with him playing like that?!

But just get him off roster? Stupid. We keep on kicking players off this roster. Talent stain is too much .

I just marvel at Hawks and Nets .

Hawks have Bogdaonvich, Gallo, Huerter...all 3 are assassins.

We got to get at least one of them in offseason.

At to that team Trae, Collins and Hunter...Hawks are about one star away from being a problem.

He had a custom injury plan to prepare him for the playoffs and he still couldnt hold up.

He’s cooked. Hes about to be the worst asset, too injured to provide value and on a max contract. He needs to go immediately.

You're not wrong, Kemba has been playing like ass and isn't helping us, and him missing the game may well be an improvement. On the other hand, a lot has to go right for us and wrong for the Nets for us to win this series. The best chance at that was Kemba managing to get hot and pretty play well in spite of his injuries, not Kemba missing games and us hoping that Smart puts up another 5 for 8 performance from three point range. With Kemba and Timelord out, our second option on offense is Evan Fournier, who might not even be the fourth option on the Nets.

Hopefully Smart and TT keep vastly overperforming while Kyrie and Joe Harris keep vastly underperforming, or something along those lines.

My big concern with PP is the Nets players just shooting over him easily. Rather just have Romeo or Nesmith for size on defense. Smart be the point guard. JT be the other distributor when the double comes and pray for the best.

This is the "let's try to out-rebound and out-defend them and hope Tatum goes off for 50 again" plan, which I guess is the best shot we have at this point anyway. We're completely depleted of talent on offense now. If we at least had Brown this would be a lot easier to swallow.
