The entire city of NY balmed him for them sucking. So pressure probably forced thibs to bench hin. Well that game showed it wasnt ALL his fault after all.

Payton has had all the opportunity in the world to step up this season and he just hasn’t. Dude must hate basketball or something, just isn’t interested in pushing his game any further than what he entered the league with.

Kristaps got to step up man….another player where injuries just took the “special effect” right out of him……never been the same since

Finally used in way he always should be used.

I mean you have PG who does not make anybody around him better, can't defend and shoots 28% for 3.
In month of April he averaged 19 mpg for 8,7 ppg on 49% TS
In month of May he averaged 14 mpg for 3,8 ppg and 36 % TS
He simply isn't starting point guard. Never was. NEver will be.
It's a miracle that he actually started almost 400 nba games. Guy is definition of third stringer. Doesn't compete hard, has no clear strenghts to his game and never showed any signs of improvment. Just a notion that was period of time where Orlando pretended he is "future" shows how little menagment ( &fans) understood direction of nba in that period of time.

So payton's mom was on twitter attacking Knicks for benching her son, making fun of Knicks for loss

Maybe you are speaking of what Payton himself has produced on the court but what his mom does or says should not be a reflection of him.
And honestly I can't blame his mom's reaction because that is what Moms just do. Other moms have defended their sons as well such as Harden's, Durant's, Iverson's, and JaVale's. And with all the **** Payton has gotten from Knicks fans and media for his terrible game play I could imagine his mom really wants to defend her son.

Knicks fans are especially vicious when players struggle. Payton was decent at start of season but had a horrid last few months. Once Rose come in it was obvious he should've been benched or play very little minutes, but Thibs still started him. But the funny thing as a lineup it still worked despite Elfrid struggling.
Randle and Barrett have been getting their wrath the past few days for sucking too lol.
But in no way do I blame someone's mom for defending them. Especially when none of these fans would say stuff to their face. People were commenting on Elfrid's daughter picture who is a toddler and talking about her.. that's #1 reason for me to fight someone if I'm not getting spit on. A lot of keyboard warriors.

Re: Around the NBA- 2020/2021 Edition
Can anyone do an around the league Magic alumni update? I've only bothered to look at Box scores for AG, as I thought he alone might explode on a good team, and man did he ghost.
Is he just checked out, or what?
How is Vuc feeling these days? The Elfrid talk made me wonder about all the others. Is Hezonja in the league anymore?

He had a really good year in Greece, over 20 ppg per 36 mpg.sChOlaRlY_Magi wrote:Can anyone do an around the league Magic alumni update? I've only bothered to look at Box scores for AG, as I thought he alone might explode on a good team, and man did he ghost.

"With Zion Williamson extension looming, Pelicans face their most pivotal offseason"

I was about to say that Zion should use his powers to get NOLA to change their mascot.

But an Internet search shows me that's already been done. I just never noticed the new bird above.
Well, then he should use his powers to get king baby knocked out of the picture.

Capla is a good big for ATL and while solid i don't think B. Lopez is all that special but for the most part you are correct.

In regards to AG, I still think there is a huge disconnect for many between who AG really is and who they want him to be. They traded for him to be a defensive specialist and I think he is going to be a great that role. And it's going to be really difficult for him to break out with Joker, Murray, and MPJ on that team.
In regards to Vuc it's all about next season. While I don't think they will be a contender they should be a decent team. They have LaVine, Vuc, and money to spend. So they have high potential in my opinion
