Whose playing well for the Raptors so far?
Fair enough. I think Tatum/Brown very easily is better then anything on the Raptors roster. It does not change my opinion that the roster is terrible in general.

I love JT, but he’s stat padding lol
No different than the Nets stars out there, as long as you’re in the game, play lol.
But yeah of course.
I don't think Tatum is stat padding but there is a bit of a difference in the sense that the Nets are still trying to build chemistry / familiarity after their Big 3 barely played together this year...
This is a learning experience for him, but should help him to grow going forward.

Think about this:
This League went from James Worthy holding a handful of Larry's jersey, and the refs calling nothing...to no one can even body up and play basic defense against the likes of Harden,Durant,Lebron etc.
But at the same time, the aforementioned can hack the crap out of anyone they want and never come close to fouling out.
Don't know if people realize you can barely contain a great scorer with your hands all over them. giving them this obscene advantage where defenders are terrified to even touch their airspace is so rediculously lopsided
Harden literally falls on every shot someone is close to him! It;s such a fraud move but the refs always fall for it! Nobody is stopping that nevermind when you have KD on the other side to bail you out with a quick pass!

Ok so why don't more players play like James Harden and Kevin Durant if it's so easy or whatever?

Yea it’s a shame we didn’t draft Malachi Flynn instead and not the guy who milked the raps in like every game this season.
Bleeding Green wrote:Yes, Jayson Tatum gets tons of foul calls in his favor. Did you even watch the game? He took 17 free throws, as many as KD and Harden combined.

Didn't get any of those calls until the game was out of hand.
Watched him complain about it for 2.5 quarters until the refs finally relented.
Which,BTW is a sad statement on the state of the league and it's play. Everybody's begging for a foul after every play. It's gotten so bad that it bled down to the youth leagues.
Just attended a fourth grade AAU girls game where even those players are begging for foul calls! The League is doing serious damage to this game.

Flynn will be the better pro. Offer so much more on defense.

Not saying I agree or disagree, but the only one feasible in that category is B Beal

This team will be back the ownership, front office and coaching structure is too well formed at this point to allow us to become a lower rung franchise
Kemba is the the first and most crucial domino to fall. I'm hopping something with the clippers with zubac coming back in some package comes to fruition. The lack of options and motivation to shuffle the deck seems to match for both teams and there are several packages both teams can make work given the state of each roster.
The most important thing to remember in all of this is that we possess the most precious commodity this league has to offer....a tier 1 star in the beginning of his prime. Everything starts ends with Tatum. Ainge will be judged on what he does with Tatum's prime. He was able to bring a chip home with pierce but he inherited pierce. Tatum is his player and I hope he feels the pressure to bring home a chip for the best guy he's ever drafted.
This year was a lost year ultimately. Too many injuries, young guys and roster familiarity to put together something truly competitive. A lot of young guys showed promise. Nesmith, Pritchard and rob Williams all showed they belong on this level and should be major contributors going forward. We have Fournier (or his tpe in a sign and trade) and 11 mill left on the Hayward tpe that give us some wiggle room to add players to this roster. Combine this with the team's motivation to reshuffle the roster I expect some major moves to this offseason.
Stay up Cs fam next year is gonna be legit I can feel that **** in my bones.

He doesn’t do anything better than Payton except be longer. He’s probably already better than Flynn will ever be.
