Hawks look to take dominating series 3-1 lead vs. Knicks

Atlanta has a great opportunity to take full control of the series on their home floor, as a Game 4 win on Sunday would obviously give them up to three chances to close out the series and advance to the second round. The Hawks seemed to enjoy a homecourt advantage in a rocking State Farm Arena on Friday after playing two tightly contested games in Madison Square Garden earlier in the series.

The Knicks will be desperate for a win Sunday afternoon’s Game 4, in an effort to avoid going down 3-1 in the series. Julius Randle continued to struggle for New York in Game 3, shooting 2-of-15 from the floor in the loss. Derrick Rose has been the lone offensive bright spot for much of the series, scoring 30 points as he moved into the starting lineup for Game 3.

Voted JC, he needs to stay on the floor. It messes up.our rotations, too many ORebs for Knicks, and if he's scoring it keeps Randle occupied.

Voted Hunter. Need his to guard the Knicks best player Rose. Also need him to chip in some offense.

I pick JC too. He really needs to improve his playoff showing. He should be able to do more inside against Knicks mediocre bigs. Got to control his foul situation too

One very good thing now they have a 15pts lead : attacking the rim and getting fouls
Don't know if McMillan asked for it, but it's the moment to do it : 2min left in the 3rd, Randle and Gibson with 4 fouls

4th quarter : I would start by attacking Gibson and getting he's 5th foul as he's their best player on this game.

Revenge of Gallinari!

Galli should get player of the game today!

Trea played horrible but the Hawks still won and dominated throughout the whole game. This was a great confidence booster for all the players and all the fans.

Going into game 5, the Hawks not only have a working and proven game plan against the Knicks, they can also go in with alot of confidence that even is Trae is not perfect, they can still get it done.

Hawks need to be 100% focused on game 5 right and have zero thoughts on the Sixers right now.

So happy right now! Great win! Way to step on their throats. Watching them celebrate Randle's cheap show down 25 was all I needed to see to know we are gonna end this in 5. Can't wait for the next one!

Great win on a lot of points (defense without foul trouble on John or Clint, rotations, intensity, fouls from Randle and Gibson...). Need to stick with this plan now and adjust a bit, but keep the main choices.
NYK will start being really aggressive in Game 5, so no foul trouble first to be able to rotate like needed later in the game and increase pressure. This game shows there's no need to build a huge lead in the first half

Yep focus on improving your team game. It’s not about who you play but improving your team game. These starters have not played together for much time at all. Keep getting better playing as a team and the wins will take care of themselves.

We owned the second half of the game.
It was great to be back in the arena for an actual game. Even eating the concession food was missed.

The atmosphere yesterday was electrifying.
