I'm on a vintage movie kick at the moment: "Sisters" (original Brian De Palma version), "Marathon Man," "The Silent Partner," "The Tall Blond Man With One Black Shoe," and "The Grifters."

Also have just watched "A Serious Man" (a 2009 Coen Brothers film I didn't know existed).

Up next: "Blow-Up" and "Blow Out."

I’m late to the party but just about done with season 2 of city on a hill.....bacon man. Great job! He does such a great job as Jackie rohr - I can’t figure out if his character in “sleepers” or this is more despicable

I watched the end of Godless on Netflix today. I feel like it started REALLY strong in the first couple episodes, but didn't really live up to its initial promise. Jeff Daniels on the other hand was brilliant the whole way through. Literally one of the best acting performances I've ever seen, and it's wild that the guy who played Harry in Dumb and Dumber was also able to show such depth as a murderous outlaw. Easily the most terrifying screen villain I've seen in years.

Not too often you hear a band like Toad the Wet Sprocket cover Kiss, and completely change the arrangement. Apparently, it's one of Gene Simmons favorite songs, and not his version, this one.
