It's not a moot point. Gary wanted fifteen million and can get that, plus he's a restricted free agent this summer so we would be forced to make a decision within a smaller time frame potentially.

The point you were making is Gary was traded because Jody Allen is cheap. But if Jody Allen is willing to pay Powell what Gary Trent wanted, that isn't about money. It's about who's worth the money.

We might see Powell paid if this team can prove something in the playoffs, I think that might be the bigger factor. Either way Powell lines up with the timeline this team has far more than GT Jr. did. Paying Powell no matter what happens is not always the right move depending.

Lol Jokic flopped so much on that 'charge' but the refs have been crazy this quarter towards both team in unbelievable ways that I can't complain. We just have to stay close during these Nurkless minutes. It's so pivotal.

He's got tons of guts as he showed in 2019 with his heroics that will forever cement him in Blazer lore. But he's just simply outmatched by Jokic in this series. Glad he's on the team as he can be a pain in opponents' sides on the glass, all the same.
