I don't think Tatum, Randle, and the one guy we'd be able to afford after is going to be enough.

I’ll take my chances. Tatum was good enough to beat Brooklyn on his own in one game. Was even the best player on two ECF teams. Get Lavine and make Randle play the Bosh role. That’s a good big 3

Tatum is on a rookie MAX. His contract is super reasonable. $32M/yr? No brainer.

Boston would never do it though.

Between the AD injury, and now Embiid's meniscus tear, the Bucks really are my last realistic hope of someone dropping the Nets as presently constituted. Their big three appears abnormally healthy. The path is getting really cleared for them right now.

Hopefully the Bucks do their job or someone else surprises if they don't.

The Nets were going to coast to the championship regardless of these injuries, as they are the greatest most stupidly stacked super team ever assembled so far in the super team era.

Still wondering which diva to hate? KD for being common denominator in second unbeatable team or the choker Harden who had so many good opportunities but couldn't get the job done and join them.

Because KD-Kyrie only wasnt getting out of the East.

And the only teams with players who are major weapons where they're weak are now injured (Embiid / AD).

Yeah, the Nets are about to win a championship and no one will care... It's equivalent to OKC or Memphis winning. Equivalent of a small market fanbase (if that, because in those cities there isn't much to do, so fans show up) in a megacity.

Not much of a legacy win for any of those guys. It just shows they took LeBron's control of the League and its talent imbalance to its logical conclusion. Globetrotters vs. Generals.

The NBA has to do a better job at ensuring that teams can't stack more than 2 top 15-20 players on a single squad, to prevent more Nets/Heat type teams from forming going forward. I'm OK with 2 studs getting together because that's pretty hard to prevent nowadays and it still leads to competitive parity much of the time. 3 is just pushing it and not good for the league IMO.

It's annoying that Dolan has prevented it from happening in the best/most obvious place for it to take place (a rocking MSG), but that doesn't mean the league should do anything to stop it. I have no structural issue with the Nets and how they were built, I just find their players unenjoyable either on the court or off it, soft, and unlikeable on the whole. My issue with them is more of a philosophical one - three superstar players specifically choosing to play for the worst fanbase/weakest media coverage in the league because they knew they could do whatever they want and not be held accountable - than anything I think the league should make changes to prevent. I don't see any procedural problem with what Durant/Kyrie, Harden, or Brooklyn as an organization have done - they all chose to get in bed together knowing full well why it was going down. Their big three just want to play basketball with no fan pressure, media pressure, or expectations beyond their own.

Seems like Marcus Smart is clashing with the FO and Stevens. He’s an expiring contact too, I’d definitely see what the asking price is

Damn, the sign Gordon Hayward crew is gonna get the last laugh. That math teacher isn't going to be able resist trading brown or tatum for his son.

Kyrie and Austin Rivers have me questioning my stance on the power of belief. I've always thought that hippy bs was trash. But it seems to work for them.
