Chris Paul decided to stop taking jumpshots and stop dribbling with his right hand for three games in the middle of a playoff series? you can honestly sit there and say that makes sense to you?

Chris Paul healthy or not doesn't going to win a series versus a Lakers healthy team and ready for the playoffs and all the people know that. And if he was injured magically he is good now. It's Chris Paul the guy is capable to do whatever dirty trick to win. I mean he was trying to injure the people in all the series in the game 3 and he tried to injure Lebron in game 1

so let me get this straight. Chris Paul knew he couldn't win the series, so he faked an injury midgame and played with one arm for half the series. and he did this because according to you he will do whatever dirty trick to win. so he knows he can't win which causes him to fake an injury and play handicapped, and he's doing this because it's a dirty trick he's using to win somehow? that's your theory?

ok

lakers have been decimated with injures all year long :nonono:

Or with a Lebron not rusty comming of a injurie two weeks ago.

Man AD is such a lazy player. Why is he always taking breaks and faking injury?

Oh yeah he is faking a groing injury or a sprain knee. I think is the first time that he is injured in the Playoffs but hey.

Look how he is faking the injurie he should be faked a torn ACL

I don't care about the context. He is the one that he was injured and so sore that he can't play and magically now he is good.

So basically a wizard came to the Suns locker room at the half of the 4th game an he did magic with his shoulder. He came from "I can't use my arm" to "I'm back" during a half of a game.

i mean again, go look up what a stinger is or what the recovery for a pinched nerve is. there's nothing magical about any of this, you just haven't heard of a common injury somehow. football players get them all the time and it looks like a separated shoulder until they come back in 10 minutes later lmao. this isn't special. kyle lowry dealt with prolonged recovery for the same injury last year.

and he did use his right arm in games two and three or at least try to, he was just very limited. and even in game 4 when he said "i'm back" he passed on open threes that he takes 100% of the time because he didn't have the strength to shoot from three yet.

Sorry to don't believe you man. It's not your fault it's fault of Chris Paul he was injured probably but much less than he was and he is doing a drama out of this all the series I mean it's not his first time doing tricks and stuff like that we all know how he is

no you're definitely right. chris paul faked an injury because he knew he couldn't win, and playing with one arm for three games was a dirty trick to win the series. all of that definitely makes a lot of sense

i mean it is what you said lol. i don't care what you think about chris paul. you can call him a whiny, flopping garbage can for all i care. but if you think he just decided to play without using his right arm for half the series because he either was afraid they couldn't win, or because it somehow gives them an advantage (which makes no sense), you have brain rot.

This is D.Book's chance to shine and show the world. Time for him to shed the 'good stats, bad team' label. Next game, he's gotta come out with a killer instinct to put this away along with Ayton. CP3 is a leader and stabilizer at this point in his career, playing with a bum shoulder and all. Sucks for the Lakers, but if losing AD is the difference between winning the series and losing games by 30+, then clearly the team wasn't good enough to repeat. Entertaining AF!

No I'm not saying that. I'm not saying that he is using his injury as an advantage because he couldn't win.

First because it's fault of the Lakers injuries that they are losing. I'm saying that this guy is facking much more his injury that what really It is the guy literally change the way that he use his arm in the middle of a Game and I don't believe nothing on him because It is what It is.

it is really finny how desperately both fanbases are trying to prove to each other who has been more lucky/unlucky.
the simple truth is that at full strength both teams would not have met in the first round.

but that's part of the game. injuries happen.

what do you mean "really got hurt"? he obviously did lmao. is this some conspiracy theory i missed?

I've seen other Laker fans post this as well lately here on RealGM. I guess it's the latest narrative that acts as a coping mechanism for the reality check Laker fans have been receiving. Before the playoffs got started, Laker fans were incredibly cocky and disrespectful; claiming teams were trying to tank to avoid them, trolling suns and jazz fans that they felt bad for them being first round fodder if they faced the Lakers, they were posting in the nuggets / Portland series thread saying that neither of these teams stood a chance against the Lakers in the second round etc.

That was the narrative, then reality struck; Portland beat LA to the 6th seed, the Lakers barely made it out of the play-in tournament, and they're getting outplayed in the first round by a team with a core of a bunch of guys in their early 20s.

To make sense of it all, the narrative has changed to conspiracy theories and a range of excuses.

The meltdown of Lakers fans here on RealGM has been a thing of absolute beauty to witness.

AD is not playing, and LeBron is obviously affected by his syndesmosis injury, something which should be resolvable over the off season even at his age btw.

The amusing thing for me as a GSW fan is LeBron fans calling LeBron affected by injury despite respectable numbers, when the possibility that Curry was at all affected by injury in the 2016 finals series was in any way allowable given he was on the court playing.
