With Embiid's injury hanging over everything, the Sixers look to close out the series against the Wizards. For the first time this year, they will play in front of a sold out Wells Fargo Center.

Would be great to see Doc come up with something to do with the Simmons minutes other than just playing Mike Scott at center. They had some interesting lineups in the fourth quarter, hopefully with a couple days of planning they've come up with a better strategy there.

With or without Embiid, this team has been close to unbeatable at home. I expect that to continue tonight. Important to end this before the Wizards get any ideas, then ideally the Knicks take the other series 7 and you get as much time off as possible.

Go Sixers!

No Embiid should be No Problem.

I'm looking forward to everyone stepping their game up and giving the home crowd a win.
The Accession of Paul Reed is upon us !

You want it to be one way....but it's the other way.

This is where we find out whether this team has the player leadership and passion to win a championship.

If they wilt without Embiid, they don't.

I predict wizards will hack a Ben if Sixers jump out to a double digit lead just to slow momentum.

Let’s get the game and the series over. Hope Embiid can play in game 2 or 3 of the next series as best case situation. Let’s just focus on one game at a time.

Cool, hopefully we can close this out and avoid history by having the Wizards win the next three. Enjoy it while it lasts. Maybe more of Maxey? Can Mike Scott hit a three? Can Dwight Howard turn back the clock? It'll be interesting to see.

Simmons having a double double with 20+ points is going for +425 on FoxSports. So let's just say I'm looking forward to a game long hack a Ben and some cheap rebounds without Embiid.

Maxey should be the pg and Ben goes to 5 when Howard rests, Scott is garbage.

Couldn't agree more. And I think the team would rally around a rookie at PG, whereas Scott at the 5 and Simmons at PG is just more of the usual and inspires apathy.

Scott should hardly play. Put Maxey, Kork, Thybulle, or literally anyone else in there. Stick Ben or Tobi at C on defense for the non-Dwight mins.

Use for stretches the line up that brought us back in the last game with Ben at the five

Maxey
Hill
Furk/Mattise
Ben
Tobias

And sorry Ben, you're gonna have to play the 48 minutes lol

Is there any possible way Dwight can maybe turn back the clock tonight? This guy at one time was the most dominant center in the game. He's always been limited offensively, but if he could give us 2010 Dwight Howard for just one night, that would be great. Former number one overall pick, multiple all stars, just recently competed in the dunk contest. Surely he can get it done for a stretch.

I think he's physically capable of turning back the clock for a night.

The biggest challenge he'll face is adapting his approach. Ever since he's been playing the reserve C role these past few seasons, he's really been gooning up his playstyle and adopting a very foul-heavy style. A style that obviously isn't compatible with someone playing starter's minutes.

Here we go

Hopefully they do something interesting and dont just play Ben as though he were Dwight the whole game.

Please don’t just dump the ball to Tobias and “watch him work”. Anything but that.

Glad Mike Scott didn't get the nod. Would have gone with Kork, but I guess Doc's worried about Ben getting in early foul trouble again if he's got to defend Beal the whole game.

Glen panicked w/ Mike Scott last game. Glad to see he (mostly likely) isn't repeating that mistake.
