Thibs is who he is. A bunch of analysts had a great take on him; he can change a team's fortunes and get them out of the doldrums but he's not going to take you to a championship based off his antiquated style on offense. He's a great stopgap coach to right the ship and than bring in someone more offensively innovative to get you over the hump.

You thought he was supposed to take this roster to the championship... lol

Yes, we were absolutely terrible and I expected more but I knew they had more talent and the best player in the series so this wasnt going to be easy. I am very disappointed in the lack of effort and lack of adjustments by Thibs and our players but at the end of the day, the Hawks are far more talented.

If you really expected Randle to be the same Randle that played in the regular season, well that's your fault for those false expectation. Randle is, AT BEST, as low tier 2nd option on a good playoff team. And I cant be mad at RJ because he isnt skilled enough yet but I know he is going to put in the work this summer, also he played pretty hard and never gave up or gave in mentally(like Randle did in game 4).

I agree with you on RJ but not Randle. Julius doesn't look like a 3rd option on a good playoff team, let alone a championship caliber one. He has 6 season of playing like he did in this playoff series and one shortened regular season where he played very well in a contract year during the middle of a pandemic in empty arenas.

The Hawks just gave a very easy blueprint for teams to utilize on how to gameplan for Randle defensively next year.

Outside of any serious injuries to Knicks players that was about as terrible a playoff series as I could have worried about leading into the series. Probably would not have changed the outcome but I wish we could have seen more adjustments from the coach.

Five games in a bad matchup doesn’t negate 70 games during the year. Julius is still a second or third option at worst. We saw a ton of excellent play from him this year but y’all want to throw him away. Some of those same people still talk up Frank.

I hope this series ends up being a blessing in disguise in that we get Julius signed to his max this year as opposed to his max next year. Save some money.

No free agents worth it so let’s hope we get a few disgruntled stars who want out this year. How do y’all feel about Jimmy Butler wanting a 4/180 max extension?

honestly this series exposed a lot. We aren't even close. ATL isn't even that good of a team and we barely won one game.
