Luka had at least 4 shots that lipped in and lipped out. Very close misses that have nothing to do with it being the 4th quarter. Did you see him pull up for that deep 3 in transition? That kid's confidence level is on infinity. He's not getting 4th quarter jitters.

I think the 4th quarter performances is a combination of fatigue and you just don't score 10 points every quarter.

Scary thing for the Clippers is the Mavs won when only 2 of their players were in double figures and Mavs shot a pedestrian 38.9% from 3.

What happens if the Mavs role players get hot from beyond the arc? It also seems like Carlisle finally figured out a way to slow down Kawhi (some).

I thought foul on Boban was a flop by Mann. That "continuation" call I don't think Luka was 6 inches away from even touching Kawhi. What a joke of a call.

Rest of the game seemed decent to me.

I am a fare weather fan. I was convinced the Mavs would lose. Had the game on in the background half watching it, so I didn't get to involved and disappointed.

And they won.

It wasn't pretty or easy, but they toughed it out when they could have easily folded. Good character team.

This game was the series, for the Mavs. They lose this & they need a 2-0 shocking sweep (like we saw in game 1 & game 2), which wasn't likely.

Now they have a free crack at game 6. Doncic (when healthy) gets whatever he wants against the Clippers. If the Mavs shooters are hot, it could happen. If the Clippers shooters are not, it could happen.

If it goes to game 7, the Mavs go back to LA where they are 3-0 in this series. Not a bad spot to be in.
