this doesn't mean we will let it slide if the Jazz make the finals since you just admitted youre a huge Rudy Gobert fan.

Huge fan.

I'm glad he ruined the NBA season last year.

It’s gonna hurt when the sham curse lingers into the off season and we max out Oladipo and Drummond

He didn’t want to tank in 18-19. They were awful. That fool always wants to “compete”. I’m just grateful that we had no choice but to play the kids and live with the results. Got us a true pillar.

Only thing is maybe we wouldn’t have been as bad in 18-19 if we got one of the studs in 17-18

I think they clearly wanted to tank for Zion. They were bad on purpose that year. They let Fizdale run wild and played Knox major minutes without holding him accountable despite being trash. That's tanking.

Is that a serious team?

Reporter: David, Do you feel any pressure here as a first year coach here to win as many games as possible or have Scott and Steve given you the freedom to establish an on court identity and culture first?

Fiz: the best part for me when we sat down for our interview is the first words they said to me was “Tank? We will not EVER tank”. And that’s the thing that resonated with me the most. “Go out and try to win every game.”

As I said before, Mills wants to compete all the time. He was forced to flip mid season b/c yet another Mills product was abysmal.

Coaches do not tank. They will try to compete always.

But a Front Office that builds a roster with Tim as your franchise player and Mario, Vonleh, Knox, Kanter, and Mud as your main rotation players, is ready to tank the season.

“Tank? We will not ever tank.”

The front office first words to him. I brought you the receipts and you’re still denying it.

They wanted to develop the young guys & had 2019 plans even with KP. That’s why the roster looked like that. But tanking was off the table till mid season after the trade b/c we were awful
