All Trae needs to do is glide in and he’s highly likely to get a call.

It suffocates competition.

That did get pretty ridiculous. You could tell it got in our heads too.

Sexton
Lavine
RJ
Randle
Turner

A semi realistic team that solves a lot of our issues

Lot more concerning questions about our future. Can we still trend upwards? Sure can. But there is a little more uncertainty about what we have then about 10 days or so.

Not really imo, regardless of how good Randle was this year, I don't think anyone thought he was a true #1 player on a playoff team, he should be a #3 on a great team, a #2 on a good team. RJ is 20 and got his first taste of the playoffs, he improved his game tremendously from his rookie season. We need more talent, nobody thought otherwise. The knicks have everything going for them to improve their talent level, starting with the most cap space, tons and tons of picks, and now a foundation and culture established

if you don't have concerns about Randle going forward I don't know what to tell you. 1st option, 2nd option, 3rd option, I don't care. He was so bad in the 5 games its hard to even put it into words. If you feel comfortable committing long term to him after that post season bless your heart. I'm not saying don't pay the man...I'm just saying if you don't have some reservations after this series you aren't human. He was completely taken out of everything he wanted to do (fairly easily too). I don't know if pushing him down a peg on the totem pole completely alleviates all our issues.

Concerns as your #1 option absolutely, but concerns as your #3 option absolutely not..first of all his max is very reasonable if he's your #3 option. It's very easy to look short sighted and say man his series was terrible, which it was, but big picture it just shows he's not your #1 option nor should he be..

So a team so desperate for talent is willing to just cut bait with Sexton? No thanks!! The bulls acquired Vuc and aren't trading Lavine..so not anything realistic about this. Knicks need players that have playoff experience...and this lineup is not helping them win in the playoffs

As long as they all have moveable contracts and don't make 30 million a year, I'm cool with this.

Look guys. We deserve a title. I don't give a **** about all these people saying we should be grateful blah blah. It's not our fault the Knicks have sucked. We deserve better.

That being said, I want to see important games. Playoff basketball. Exciting upsets. Crazy ass runs. We need to take chances. We can't be watching every year like we're simming through the season to get a higher pick. Especially when most of the time, it doesn't work. Lets build a good team, keep flexibility, and aim towards sustained success. After that, anything is possible.

If the Clippers lose, I could seriously see Kawaii opting out and hitting the market..I could also see the knicks looking at a guy like Lowry on a shorter term deal that brings that playoff experience and toughness thibs likes, i know Leonard and Lowry clicked in toronto..something to keep an eye on

trading for rose seems to me that they wanted to make a push for the playoffs this season.

The only players you’re getting with playoff experience is Derozan and Oladipo. So you can have those guys while I’ll take young players with a lot of upside.

Also lavine is a free agent after next season, since you aren’t aware of that. They also aren’t going to let Lavine walk for nothing. Vucevic made them worse. Cleveland just went and drafted Isaac Okoro..so they’re not exactly the brightest when it comes to decision making.

It wasn't just the shooting. He self-immolated. His body language was terrible. He completely lost the plot defensively. He stopped running down the court in transition defense because he was too busy arguing with the refs. He stopped trusting his teammates. He was getting chippy and almost starting fights. He let the opponent see him bleed and that's inexcusable from your leader.

It was as bad as bad can be.

They got too much into trying to be the "tough" guys from NY. Rather then playing there game.

Like Bullock was trying to be Lance Stephenson or something like that...not his game.

Randle was just out of his element. The things that got fans to want to trade him in his first year were rearing there ugly head. He was exposed big time...and then it effected every part of his game. The amount of times he left collins or gallo wide open for 3 and didn't even try to contest was maddening. The pump fakes on wide open 3's...to then take a tough contested shot. Dude was lost all series.
