It's possible he just had a bad performance. Like most of the team.

I expect we renounce everyone except Nunn, Duncan, Strus and Dedmon.

Sounds about right. I think we'll try and get creative with Goran's 19.5 million opt in for a S&T deal. He's still a very good player that someone will take him in trade if we give them an asset like Herro to make salaries work out for a free agent making 20 or more. Would also be a nice going away present for Dragic. If nothing materializes on that front he'll be renounced.
bam's contract is just amazing. WTF the heat were thinking about giving such a huge contract to a rookie player,he has potential at the power forward position,he's not a natural center **** spo has been using him wrong.

same with butler he is a small foward not a PG and the (Please Use More Appropriate Word) one used him as a pg having a PG in dragic **** piece (Please Use More Appropriate Word) ass

This takes credit from the Bucks. Giannis is not an easy matchup. Long, strong, DPOY caliber player. If the jumper isnt falling there isn't much Jimmy can do with a guy like that. What we really needed was for the other "creators" to step up. But Bam was afraid to look at the basket, and Herro just stunk. and hell no to Fournier.

If Zo survived and thrived playing against Shaq, Ewing, Olajuwon, Robinson, Duncan, Sabonis, Mutombo, and a ton of other bigger guys, I think Bam can survive vs the current crop of centers.

Bam needs to grow a pair and take the open 10 footers or he's going to be useless on offense at any position.

Wow. That's big news. Remember how many folks on this board thought he'd be crazy to decline that much money on his player option? He must have a good idea he's getting that $100 million.

not from us Opie :x

he's physically declined enough that he'll probably mostly maintain current level of play until 39-40 ish imo. John Stockton didn't decline much from 36-40 until he finally retired and Cliff Paul will probably follow similar path.

with that said, not from us Opie :x

We need to go after Cameron Payne for bench scoring/back up PG. shouldn't be too expensive but he'll be sought after by many teams

He was just basically checked by the Bucks defense. We still have to remember that Giannis is still the reigning defensive player of the year. Added to the fact that Bam passiveness leads to Lopez camping the rim for Jimmy.

While Jimmy is still our best player, his game is quite easy to exploit. He needs to have a respectable outside shooting.

Damned if you do damned if you don't. If they would have put it off until summer fans would have said "look, we don't take care of our guys". Now the same fans are asking why they gave him the max.

Bam springing that early extension on the team was something that bothered me ever since it happened. It was obvious from the team's 2021-focused moves that they either weren't expecting it (at best) or had an informal agreement with Bam to wait until 2021 (at worst). Had the team known Bam's early extension demand was coming I doubt they would've passed on so many doable options for the sake of preserving 2021 cap space

If you watch the game you can see why. It was because of the Bucks defense and how they were allowed to defend by the refs and by Bam. The scheme was to stop Butler from getting to all his spots. The Bucks keyed on two players to stop, Robinson and Butler. They gambled on that they would not see Brooklyn Nets Bam
