If the Knicks allows themselves to be 'explored' by the Celtics as a place to trade Kemba the Rose regime is just another in a long line of dubious Knicks FOs....period. Let alone be the place for him they shouldn't even get into conversations about him.... they should hang up the phone if Stevens even mentions the name.

He's not it.

If Boston wants to send Smart + Kemba + picks for a package like Knox + Frank to free up some cap space for themselves, it's not a bad idea if you could plug Smart into the starting line up next to Rose and bring Kemba off the bench as a 6th man super sub. The picks make it more palatable.

You think they're sticking with Rose as the starter going forward?

Wait.... people really think the Celts are going to send out picks in a deal with Kemba? That's hilarious... even if they were to and doubt they would, it won't be to the Knicks.

They would do a deal with any of the 25 other teams outside the division before they'd send him and a 1st rounder to the Knicks.

Rooting for Dame and Kawhi to both play well but their teams to lose in 6 on the outside chance that they decide to team up in NY.

Definitely not. If anything Luka needs a wing or a dominant center and not a point guard that absolutely needs the ball in his hands.

Do you think we go for Kemba since he's an expiring next year, and gives us a maybe kinda okay PG? He's gotta be available for cheap.

It allows us to push the cap space to 2022 when theres better players available..

According to Spotrac, Kemba has a player option for 2022-2023. I think that player option makes it a no for me

Kemba tanked it in...he will be very frustrating here in NYC.

He also hates NY.

Rose probably got better knees than Kemba, I wouldn’t press hard for him id press hard for Bradley Beal if anything.

As much as I dont like PG, he slots well between RJ and Randle....
