People worrying too much about Randles ego listen if a star player signs here and requests that Randle needs to go then he's gone until any star player signs a contract with Knicks there is no reason to hate Randle we don't need to fool ourself like Mills did when he traded KP for cap space cause superstars wanted to come here.

Not valuing that one point (the technical free throw) in an elimination game because you're more focused on being petty vs Trae is nuts.

He looked incredibly emotional and lacking composure throughout the game (and throughout the series).

So strange right.

It actually didn't seem strange, I noticed every time we got way behind in a game he would act this way all season long, it just so happened we won a lot of games and rarely got blown out. the worse we fall behind the more he presses and forces bad decisions and the more he does that the more we fall behind. When the game was close or we had a lead, he played under control

That is pretty interesting actually. I think it speaks to some serious deficiencies though. When we had that mini-run and he came back in, he immediately turned it over again and very badly. What a disaster.

He made JR Smith v. the Pacers look like a success.

He certainly played that way and his demeanor and posture regressed back to the previous season. Concerning no doubt..he needs to watch the tape and still continue to improve not just physically but mentally.

He looked like Z-Bo pre Memphis... immature, low IQ, fake tough guy antics. I don't think New York is the right place for him long term... he needs to go to a small market team.

Right ...it looked like all those same pressures came back to "be the man" . He was hesitant as hell and just afraid of missing, which ironically caused him to miss that much more. His mental needs to catch up with his physical.

While we're at it, there was a play in the 4th where IQ asked Julius to clear out as he had favorable match-up on the perimeter. Instead, Julius actually walked towards IQ, as if his message were "How dare you". (Not saying that's what he was thinking, but that's the energy that emanated from that play from my view).

That was striking as well, even if IQ is a rookie.

That series was not a good look for Julius in terms of leadership, mental focus and body language. Hopefully he learns from it and comes back stronger next season. He has to.

That's correct and why Mike Budenholzer wasn't a good fit.

The task was develop but tank respectively.

Then why give him a 5 year contract? If tanking was the goal, why not just keep Hornacek? Or just get someone like Herb Williams or Rambis to lead the tank?

Why pay a young coach $4m per year just to fire him after 1.25 seasons on a 5 year deal.

Why fire Steve Mills too? If the goal was tanking, then he did his job to perfection.
Because the fans complained loudly and chanted SELL THE TEAM!

That’s why we’ll probably sign Lowry, Conley or CP3. Randle is talented, but we need another leader on this squad

Randles body language definitely was concerning. He’s a dude who wears his emotions on his sleeve. You could see how unsure of himself and timid he was.

It translated into even more energy expended trying to lose his defender but by doing all the wrong things ... really he faked himself out.

Not to pile on but when he shoved Gallo I thought that was so weak ...and it looked weak . The Hawks were trying to get into our heads and he kinda validated their efforts with that display of frustration. Not a good look coming from our leader. Apparently Drose felt the same way.

PS I'm not against a properly time shoved to prove you aint going to be walked over - kuddos to Nerlens Noel and Charles Oakley back in the day.

Ja averaged 30 points, 8 assists and almost 5 rebounds against the team with the best record, and the number 1 seed. What is it that you have against Ja? You're going to try and blame him for losing that series?

Your hatred for a rising superstar in the league is comical at this point. Don't you wish Randle or RJ would have put up those same numbers in the Knicks loss to a lower seed?

That's actually funny. Who do we root for?

Sure did. Also the timing was off for all those antics. Never swung the momentum, just looked anticlimactic.

It was pathetic.

Would love to see them talk schit against Embiid. They’re in for a rude awakening.

It all depends on Embiid. If he misses more than one game, I'm picking ATL to win the series.
