Please yes. I think she's an excellent choice. She learned 7 years under Pop, played the game herself. Also fills the important diversity column, because the organisation needs a image repair job. Has an excellent reputation both by players and other coaches arround the league.

Meh I've seen Twitter rumblings otherwise, Anyway they've been bad in her tenure, I realize that's not all on her but their response to the Spurs coaching staff this year does not boost her candidacy IMHO

Does Kara Lawson even have any interest in the job? She just took her dream job at Duke less than a year ago.

It occurred to me we're all fired up about her and I know Scal made comments gassing her up, but aside from that there's actually no indication she even wants to interview for the C's.

Let me clarify. I personally believe if it was 100% Brad Stevens decision it would be Kara Lawson as the next Celtics head coach. I don't believe it's 100% Brad Stevens decision.

I don't know, that could be re: Lawson, but I agree--I don't think it's really ultimately Brad's decision.
