Please yes. I think she's an excellent choice. She learned 7 years under Pop, played the game herself. Also fills the important diversity column, because the organisation needs a image repair job. Has an excellent reputation both by players and other coaches arround the league.

Word is she's basically being run out of SA. Perfect hire for us!!

Huh? No way. They LOVE her in SA.

I'm still in shock about this but we've all been calling for change for a while; hopefully, this is it.

A big question that I still have is does Brad replacing Danny make Fournier less or more likely to re-sign

In case anyone hasn't seen these yet:

She does seem impressive..
Nothing wrong with having a different opinion - as long as it's done respectfully. It'd be lame if we all agreed on everything :)

Not for anything but what image problem does the organization have? I mean I don’t care who they end up picking but I hope it’s not in response to. 1 fan out of 17000 throwing a water bottle

Meh I've seen Twitter rumblings otherwise, Anyway they've been bad in her tenure, I realize that's not all on her but their response to the Spurs coaching staff this year does not boost her candidacy IMHO

Does Kara Lawson even have any interest in the job? She just took her dream job at Duke less than a year ago.

It occurred to me we're all fired up about her and I know Scal made comments gassing her up, but aside from that there's actually no indication she even wants to interview for the C's.

I'd love it if her hat was in the ring but I'm wondering if we got ahead of ourselves here lol.

Is it really fireworks if Stevens is gm tho?

Zarren handles the business and Brad will probably handle the player relations side. Danny was out of touch with today’s players especially with the dumb comments he made lately.

Jesus Christ. The absolute eggshells people have to walk on these days.

Not one congratulations for Brad or thank you to Danny over the last 24 hours.

This team must hate these guys holy ****.

Tatum said something about Coach K so it's not like they're too busy.

Insofar as this shakeup is a factor I would think knowing who the new coach is would be most important.

I don't know, that could be re: Lawson, but I agree--I don't think it's really ultimately Brad's decision.

I wonder if Ainge raining on the Kara Lawson parade is just being respectful to her and Duke and doesn’t want to hurt her reputation over there and possible recruiting.
