I have to LOL at Portland being eliminated on another personally significant day for me. A few times, they have been eliminated on my birthday in the first round. This time due to the change in schedule, they were eliminated in the first round on my mom's birthday, the first after I lost her to COVID-19 two months ago. I'll be sure to announce whenever a significant personal day comes up on the day of an important Blazer game in the future so fellow fans can temper their expectations accordingly.

either the team will try to build a team to win with Dame or move Dame and start a rebuild.

Blazers are more likely to pull the plug and trade Lillard, CJ, and not sign Powell, than they are to just trade CJ. Just trading CJ and changing coaches would be the dumbest possible off-season. I think with some good off season workout, both Simmons and Little are ready to be good contributors. Without a draft choice, that will be needed.

Both teams shot very well in the first three quarters. In the 4th, however, the Nuggets kept their shooting up; while the Blazers shot about 1/3 as well. Why? What the hell happened?

It would be amazing if the Blazers got the same respect from the officials that Denver and damn near every other team the Blazers play gets. How in the world did Jokic not pick up foul #3 in the second quarter when he shoved Nurkic? Yet Nurkic picks up foul #3 when he runs past Jokic. And then our My bad. Sorry TSE coach doesnt even challenge the call. That sure paid off a minute later when Nurkic picked up foul #4. And can I say how much I've come to hate CJ in this series? And he had the ordasity to say he's played well in this series aside from game 5? He had better be gone this offseason or I may need to boycott next season.

In 2017, people were excited because Nurk was expected to be like a scrub. If you look at his numbers though, they are actually slightly better this year than 2017.
