I don’t see another team that can offer the picks (we have five of them) and can absorb the contract (we have the most cap space). I don’t disagree he might want to win Portland but eventually a talent can’t be wasted like that. The dood has no help in Portland. Maybe if they trade the farm for say Beal, but CJ RoCo and picks won’t net you a Beal…

And yes, the garden was on another level. I believe stars seeing the garden rock like this will want to be a part of that. Can you imagine Lillard rocking the garden like that? Wow

So...

Lillard can’t win POR, so he should force a trade to NYK, a weaker team, in return for whatever assets NYK has.

So he can win in NY, with less help, and no assets.

Gotcha.

You think NY is a weaker team??? Bro other than Nurkic they have no one else. You think CJ is that much better?

If you put rose, dame, Julius, obi and Mitchell to close a game that’s better than your blazer team right now…

CP3 the real deal. 7 straight points, two mid ranges all net and great wide open finding. What a guy.

I’m also right about this

NYK should continue to build your team, this year is just another step to long term success.

I mean, how much longer can the dood carry the team without asking for help or to be traded to a place he wants to play and contend with, cause it’s not Portland, not with continual first and second round exits.

Lillard says he wants to win in POR.

As a Blazers fan though, what would -in your opinion- Portland be looking for in a trade?

NYK is a weaker team.

Much better coach and some potential internal improvement.

I think he’s the best point guard in the league. If not then top three. It’s almost impossible to get equal value for him.

Reporter: David, Do you feel any pressure here as a first year coach here to win as many games as possible or have Scott and Steve given you the freedom to establish an on court identity and culture first?

Fiz: the best part for me when we sat down for our interview is the first words they said to me was “Tank? We will not EVER tank”. And that’s the thing that resonated with me the most. “Go out and try to win every game.”

28:20 at the 18-19 Knicks preseason press conference

https://dailyknicks.com/2018/09/20/new-york-knicks-steve-mills-james-dolans-support-teams-plan/

As I said before, Mills wants to compete all the time. He was forced to flip mid season b/c yet another Mills product was abysmal.

Do you believe Fizdale when he said that?

I believe he signed with the Knicks knowing the goal was to tank their first year and that he would see his second year after an offseason of significant reinforcements. The goal was Zion, KD and Kyrie, me believes.

So now what they tell him & he proudly proclaims from day one is not enough

I brought the receipts. Bring the receipts

Ok

Luka is probably top 3 best players in the world right now. It took him 37 attempts to snatch 42 points.

Book today tried 22 total for 47 points. Just contemplate for a second, in a close-out game, away, against the champs.
