c'mon mpharris, you do this every time. you always think we have the best package. we don't. brown is worth way more than rj. there's no question at all. and if they don't want brown or simmons they can trade them for even more picks. we can't even get those 2 with an rj and picks package.

and why in the world would lillard want to come here instead of playing with tatum or embiid in the 1st place ? he'd want to leave for a better chance of winning.

If Lillar asks out POR will trade him (players always get what they want and they don't want a messy breakup since he has committed way too much time there as it is). I don't think they are trading him to a Western Conf team because well no team wants to do that. And its not like the lakers or clippers can muster up the draft capital to trade for him.

I mean what team can offer POR massive financial savings + a ton of draft capital + some young players. Only a handful of teams can do it.

The issue is that dame would likely have to agree. Is randle and trash in an easier divison (outside the top 3 at least) better than his current situation? If no, then portland wont trade and dame wot agree.

I think Thibs load managed Rose in minney at times. I think it could work. If you can get Lillard and Randle during the regular season then Kawhi could take the entire regular season off for I care.

the knicks should just accept that they're not gonna compete for the next couple of years and collect assets and wait it out. instead they'll try their hardest to put together lavine & randle or beal & randle and peak at losing badly in the 2nd round. if they're lucky.
