Do you have any idea how many times I’ve sat in the suns arena listening to “let’s go lakers, clap clap clap clap clap” over the past decade?

Do you!?!?!?

I’m going to enjoy every second of this. I’m not being friendly. I’m not being sportsmanlike.

I piss on laker nation.

King wide shoulders over here talking about space jam and giving his pops an autographed jersey after the game.

Tried to tell y’all about Ayton. Most under rated young player in the game.

Congrats to the Suns, will be rooting for you guys in the second round. Let's shock the world with a Jazz vs Suns WCF, well people would be shocked in the preseason if they were told this prediction.

Crowder was amazing tonight.

Still I'd give it to Booker. He put the game out of reach in the first half with an all time Suns performance.

Crowder was great, but to some extent that it what he is supposed to do. I mean we can't expect 67% from 3 on 9 attempts, but given what he had done in the so series so far, it had to happen at some point. Great D and a couple blocks.

But Book was the MVP of the game. 22 points in the first qtr and he was 8 for 9 at one point. He finished the half at 11-14 from the field and I don't think missed a free throw. Also had no turnovers.

He finished 15-22 so he was only 4-8 in the 2nd half with that dunk on no defense at the end and had 3 turnovers not including that drive into traffic resulting in a jump ball with LeBron.

So he was a little frustrating in the 2nd, but only really when he dribbled into 4 guys and got the jump ball and on the very next possession dribbled straight into heavy traffic again. Also was trapped on the right side once resulting in bad pass to CP3.

But still, overall, even in the 2nd half his shooting was 50% even though he kind of cooled off and had the turnovers.

But phenomenal first half in a HUGE game.

So MVP of the game and also MVP of the previous game with 30 on 13-22 shooting with 7 boards, 5 assists and only 1 turnover after averaging nearly 5 in the first 4 games.

He was fairly solid in the first game too going 13 for 26 with 3 3s and 8 assists though he did have 6 turnovers.

Games 2, 3 and 4 he was quite bad though. Poor shooting at 31%, 35% and 41% with a lot of turnovers and few 3s but he can't play great every game.

Through 4 games, coming off 3 bad ones, Ayton was clearly the MVP averaging like 22 and 14 or whatever and 81% shooting.

And Payne was runner up but he was very sloppy in this last one.

But after the last two Booker pulled up close to Ayton and maybe even with the last couple games. Ayton didn't play poor and wasn't needed to score but Booker played great.

Nice that our two young stars had such a strong series in their first playoff series.

Outside of Crowder, Bridges and Cam had some nice timely 3s in this last one as well. Just a great shooting night.

My @$$
LA chose not to defend the last possession and he scored easy.
LA gets pouty because of it.
Booker knew the game is out of reach. He handled it just fine. The same way he handles every game. Just like LA acted like A-holes after winning game 3

I thought the dunk was unnecessary and LA had dribbled out the clock mostly on the previous possession and were not playing D, and Booker dunked quickly, probably wanting 50, so it was pretty unsportsmanlike.

I like that chip on his shoulder but I don't think he needs that and a few of the other things but hopefully he cleans up on the turnovers, overdribbling at times (which he has improved on) and whining often like a kid not getting his way. Maturity should come at some point.

Good point by Espo about Ayton (which I'm sure we all noticed).
You could see his impact when he came out of the game and LeBron started getting the hoop at will. When DA came back in, that stopped.
Even when he doesn't have a great offensive game, his being out there and his defense is so important.

Thanks! Same to you guys. It would be incredible to say that one of the Suns or Jazz will be in the finals.
Who do you all prefer to play in R2?

Hoping to follow in the W's footsteps of building from the draft and seeing it pay off.
I'd rather win without hiring mercenaries like the Lakers, Clips, and Nets are doing. I know GSW got Durant but that was after you won and developed a culture there. Plus it was simply you signing him and not the player bitching to get traded thanks to player influence.

I have followed the Warriors model pretty closely. And in no way shape or form am I expecting the 7 years to be like the Warriors 7 year run (Second round, tough first round against the Clippers losing in 7 and the 5 finals)-- but started with Curry, Klay two years later (Udoh was hte pick in 2012), than Barnes and Green; good role players from a Steve Blake to a Shaun Livingston. The Bogut trade - when they had the guards, they used Ellis and I think Capt Jack for Bogut. Of course, the Iggy trade too. So for sure it was a process and the Bogut trade was timed correctly as well as when they used expirings and two future first round picks to get Iggy.

Suns have some of the pieces of place with the young guys like Booker, DA and Bridges, first Rubio and than CP3 with the trade. So I guess there are some parallels

I see SeattleSun on the GB. Some others there I don't see here though like cursed sports fan, Hsker4life and YourCellarDoor. A couple of others only see a little bit like the Bobster and jcsunsfan but they post in other places as well as some others like offset.

I see some similarities for sure. Core of the team is homegrown and then adding a solid vet in CP3 like the Warriors added Andre Iguodala.

TJ Warren could have been part of this team...but oh well, we can not have them all.

From the last seven or eight years I just miss PJ Tucker and TJ Warren. No one else.

Jae Crowder still trash talking LeBron. In a league where everyone is buddy buddy it's kind of nice to see some genuine distain between guys.
