Would be pretty awesome if they all moved up together. Matt Allen was looking like a quick riser before the TJ surgery.

alvarez is on a different trajectory, he might end the year in double a and could make his debut next year at age 20.

mauricio, baty, and alvarez all homered yesterday :droop:

alvarez has jumped all the way to being the 21st best prospect in baseball and i'm sure by the end of the year he'll be top 10.

mauricio's numbers

.505 slugging, .805 ops, already has 6 homeruns(4 was his previous career high)

baty's numbers

.369 batting average, .595 slugging, .1.071 ops

alvarez's numbers

.354 batting average, .585 slugging, 1.071 ops

if you can make a trip to see a cyclones game, you'd be a fool not to -- cheap ticket and you see 3 of their best hitting prospects.

deGrom seems alright. Sounds like he wants to make his next start. I would be cautious with him.

Doesn't he have to get an MRI? If you're Jake's agent, or the insurance company on his contract/career, make him get an MRI?

Jake says no MRI is scheduled because he knows his body. Tough to argue with the best player in baseball. They did all the ligament tests after the game and no issues.

I'm with you but tough to go against what Jake wants. He has earned that right.

They did an MRI and it came back clean…also played catch today with no issues. Under the Wilpon’s, there wouldn’t have been an MRI unless they happened to have a coupon.

23 year old lf/2b carlos cortes is having a great season in double a

.296 ba
.568 slugging
.930 ops

14 doubles, 6 homeruns.

Diaz is always going to be a little spotty when his slider sucks, but Lugo looks like he didn't lose anything from the injury.

the rest of the bullpen sans Familia looks very very good. May I'm not worried, hes been given a ton of **** assignments and has a good track record.

If Carrasco and Conforto can come back and slash their career lines this is a team should be able to compete for everything. Without those guys I'm not sure this offense is good enough to compete at the top. We lose too many games where we give up 2-3 runs and do nothing on offense.

I still hope Thor comes back and is able to contribute or atleast pitch from the bullpen. Because I think the consistency of Stroman has really opened the door for a long term contract. Especially if Conforto can't be resigned I can see the Mets pivoting to Stroman and just collecting the picks from Conforto + Syndergaard.

Nimmo is hurt so often he doesnt deserve a starting spot anymore. He's a 4th outfielder next year.

Bill McKinney may take even that job away from him.

What about McNeil and JD Davis?

huh?

you do know the past 3 years nimmo has been a top 10 offensive outfielder, right?

he's not a 4th outfielder and i'm gonna say it now, the moment he's back pillar and his .680 ops becomes the 4th outfielder.
