Is someone going to ask the players what they think?

So Kemba, Langford and #16 pick for Durant.

Great job! You’re on a roll.

I’m waiting to be head hunted. After all, my posts should speak for themselves. I have ignored a few unknown number calls yesterday, maybe should have answered them. Probably Brad desperately trying to contact me.

Wow, just wow. That is serious praise from an all timer who knows talent. That would mean a lot to Jayson I reckon.

Belichick said Stevens would thrive in his new role. So out of respect i'm going to wait and see. I still see Stevens going back to coaching by this time next year. I can't imagine his hanging up the whistle at his age and with certain goals not met. Also a bit concerned his presence will be a bit too strong from the FO. Coaches need certain freedoms and Stevens door may be left too open too much for the players.

Too much time has passed with no interviews or internal coaching promotions. Considering this was planned a while ago, they are probably more ahead than we think.

I bet they are simply waiting for the Sixers season to end and Cassell will be our Coach the next day.

Philly Inquirer said today we interviewed Larranaga/Jerome Allen

Tatum has alpha game. He just needs to grow into that as a leader. Once he realizes how good he is and carries himself that way, he's going to take another leap. In a way I hope the struggles he had at times this year build that chip/F-you swagger I think he needs to push to the next level.

I think we started to see that from the Wizards play in game and on. The play in and then games 3/4/5, he looked like that rare alpha scorer who you can’t stop from getting wherever they want, and both he and the other team knew it.

Haven't been keeping up with the thread. Has anyone brought up Juwan Howard as a HC candidate?

I feel like Brad not having an experienced associate HC/top assistant these past few years have burned him. Just look at Nash basically surrounded by former HCs. Pierce too would be a good assistant if he wanted the job and could help guide the new HC

I'd like to see that. Cassell, with Billups as Lead Assistant.

Yeah that quote is big time. Durant for coach, according to Kyrie he was going to get some experience doing it this year since they didn’t need Nash to.

You can probably guess which player(s) would get consulted on this, and why such stuff doesn’t get out to the media.

I don’t know anything about his situation, but imagine he wants to get to the NBA at some point — yet is pretty content doing well at his alma mater for now?
