Kawhi isnt leaving LA even if they lose to DAL. He has won the title with two other franchises, one in each conference and was Mr Toronto and still left for LA.

Yup now your talking realistic target. Rumblings at trade deadline was we wanted to try and get his bird rights. Should be attainable at about 15 per. Nice to see a player name we actually have a chance at getting.

Social media will keep running with it because of views. 5 reasons will subtly keep the door open as free agency starts to get deep. Clutch Adam will keep the fan base on it’s heels.

Ok lets play along, say social media will run with that story. Guess where they will have him landing? A team that was on the playoffs in the east. A team that rhymes with Hicks

Should we be concerned that our 1st round pick is thinking about trying out for the Nigerian Olympic team while that country is in turmoil?

Believing kawhi will join the heat gives this mavs clips game more reason to watch. Reasons to watch are hard to find after a sweep

He needs to work the entire season on ball handling drills.

A PG that can't shoot? Oh boy!
We can play him next to Jimmy who can't shoot, and with Bam who can't shoot, and with whatever C/PF we bring in that can't shoot.

We should be rooting for the Mavs to lose so we can try and get the more realistic THJ to come here.

His 3 point percentage isn’t great but he gets buckets. I get what your saying though. Lowry would seem to be the top UFA target for us.

“I’m gonna be more than healthy by the time free agency starts, so just from a dollars perspective you kind of have to,” Dinwiddie told Sprung. “$12 million isn’t market value for a starting point guard. It’s probably about half, 20-25. So obviously it’s pretty concrete that I’m gonna opt out.”
Im super good on Dinwiddie..i’d rather go after Lonzo if it comes down to it.

I want Lonzo here bad but the RFA tag makes it much tougher. Dinwiddie sounds like he’s a hardcore dog and would fit in perfect here. Love his size at PG much like i do Lonzo. His size and length seem to make him a perfect fit next to Herro. He’s also only 28 with plenty of prime years left. Would make sense in this instance to keep Dragic around as his backup.

To make a competitive offer we would need to release basically every just to have the cap space to make a 20+ Mil offer for Ball. If they match we just lost the ability to sign and trade our players that are free agents or have an option. I could see a Hero + Dragic + future 2nd round pick in a sign and trade for Ball. That way we can still keep Duncan. It makes us younger and better defensively but still we need size. Maybe make a trade for Love? We would also need a backup pg.
Ball
Butler
Duncan
Love
Bam.
This gives us spacing. We would need a combo guard, back up pg and a backup PF/C
