Kennard trade makes you feel a little bit better about getting bent over in the Blake trade. Feels like we likely would have had Michael Porter Jr or SGA if we would have kept that pick. We'd be set with a young future star and this rebuild could have been massively jumpstarted with us having more assets potentially from a Tobias Harris trade.

I still love Luke’s game and think he’s being grossly misused in LA. I don’t like his contract though. I’m also glad we got bey. Those are all separate things.

I'm curious as to why you think Kennard is being grossly misused?

Detroit still could of had either Porter or SGA even with the Blake trade.

Reportedly, it was an either/or type of thing, as Clippers wanted either Detroit's '18 1st rounder or Luke Kennard. Detroit chose to hang on to Kennard, which was obviously the wrong decision.

Getting Bey for Kennard helps soften that blow, but I think its safe to say that most of us would rather have Porter or SGA + possession of all those 2nds over having Saddiq Bey.

Are you sure Porter or SGA would've been the pick? LOL. Donovan Mitchell stated that he couldn't remember missing a shot, in his Piston workout, yet, SVG picked T-Rex armed Kennard. At least SVG had Booker #2 on his board, behind Stanley Johnson.
