The Hawks successfully hid him against Reggie Bullock against the Knicks and they are hiding him against Danny Green now, yet neither team makes him fight through screens, switch, or defend. You have to make him play both ends of the floor.

Embiid is one of the most overrated defenders in the league. Hes a good defender but not great. Doesnt have good feet. Poor pick and roll defender, doesnt come out much. Great rim protector and paint defender but thats basically it.

What Embiid fans dont want you to know is the defensive advantage he has over Jokic is much smaller than the offensive gap Jokic has over him.

With whom would you attack him though?

It's an easy thing to say, but Curry and Green aren't capable of it. Simmons? I imagine the Hawks have gameplanned to make sure he won't be able to isolate young in the post.

Trae is on the cusp of superstardom though. Hawks played tight vs. the Knicks and they really needed to play relaxed in this series. They're hitting their shots so this will be tough for the Sixers. If not for Embiid I think the Hawks crush the Sixers. So it's really important he stays healthy. Seems McMillan bought some rest time for Capela in the first half. Capela isn't shadowing Embiid but I expect him sufficiently rested to do just that second half.
