Will we extend Bridges or will Sarver not pay 4 players big money for 1 or 2 years?

Yes, we extend him or at least match any offer as he is part of core

Sources tell Tim MacMahon of ESPN that Porzingis has been frustrated as Doncic dominates the ball and the spotlight. Porzingis frequently made thinly veiled references during his postgame media availabilities, such as saying the "ball actually moved tonight" after high-scoring performances or stating that the offense didn't involve him on low-scoring nights.

He and Book would have never made it work. Probably the same with Trae.

I wonder if the Cavs and Mavs would do a Love/KP swap.
Love has one less year than KP. Cavs could get a future first in return as well to help mitigate that extra year.
Then the Cavs could maybe be a better fit for KP. I think Sexton and Garland could be easier to move if it becomes necessary.

Luka will probably be a Laker in a post-Lebron regime change. He and Anthony Davis complement each other very well, offense and defense.

I don't see Luka and the Mavs getting along. Porzingis has minimal trade value (allegedly there has been minimal interest when he was shopped), but Luka also has issues with Rick Carlisle, who's considered one of the best offensive mind in the game. So three more years with Porzingis, who Luka hates, and playing for a coach he doesn't like ... Not going to end well for the Mavs.

Send them Murray and 3 1sts + pick swaps. Denver will never have as good a chance to win than they do now

That might make some sense if Portland is ready to "change things." Granted, wouldn't have Murray until probably spring of 2022.

Though I do think more likely to be traded is CJ McCollum

I think the will would be there from Portland. But I don't know if it would be from Denver. I think Denver thinks they were robbed by Murray's injury and that even in a fully healthy stacked West they have a chance to win it all. Doubt they make that big of a change unless we utterly play them off the floor and sweep them (which I do not expect).

That would be an interesting trade. But when I see Porzingis I do see a pretty tall small forward though. So you wrote Love for Porz. I have seen Kemba for Porz speculated.

Doncic is a heckuva player but he is a bit like Harden and he likes the ball in his hands.

I think Doncic is likely going to be a guy who is a great individual player in the league, but team success will elude him. He's a challenging guy to play with for all the reasons outlined. You kind of need JUST role players around him (but that won't cut it in the stacked West) because it's difficult to find guys that are complimentary to him because he is so ball dominant. Certainly he couldn't play with another ball dominant player. So you'd need to find someone who is content with just being a finisher most of the time. I actually think a guy like Richuan Holmes is a great fit in Dallas for that very reason. He's just gonna be nasty around the rim, and the rest of the time Doncic just goes to work.

I just don't think ball stopping offenses work. I know sometimes the ball stopped with Jordan and Bryant. But with Harden and Doncic, it REALLY stops. And in the playoffs, a few stops or bad possessions in a row - is the difference. It happened over and over with the Rockets against the Warriors - Harden stopped the ball, they had a few empty trips and against the Warriors, that was 6-8 points in like two minutes.

Its why I don't think the Nets losing Harden is that big of a deal. They have enough guys that can still score the ball.

He obviously chose Milwaukee over us, but I think that likely had to do with the perceived trajectory of each team. Milwaukee was an early favorite to come out of the East (pre-Harden to Brooklyn), and Craig had gotten to the conference finals the previous year with Denver. He was clearly looking to go to a contending team.

The Suns were projected by a lot to be a 6th or 7th seed, and no one thought we'd be this good.

I think those factors will play a large role in whether or not Craig comes back. We wanted him this offseason, and even when his play in Milwaukee was bad/limited, we were still high on him. Coupled with the fact that he is clearly looking to be on a winning/contending team, I think we have a pretty good shot of retaining him. I think he's a perfect candidate for the BAE as I've stated before, since we don't have his Bird rights, but a minimum deal likely won't get it done with the way he's performed for us. Additionally, I think we'd like to have him for two seasons, that way we don't have to worry about possibly re-signing him next offseason when we are also trying to extend Mikal and DA.

Its not just Torrey Craig -- is other free agents that will see the Suns getting better. Especially if CP3 comes back for a few years. The Suns could be that team for veteran minimum guys to pick to have a chance to win

I do like Craig a lot. Think he is the type of player teams that win always have.

Fully agree. I'm not sure who it would be that would come, but I definitely think that guys might choose the Phoenix lifestyle over say, the Milwaukee or Philadelphia lifestyle, all things being equal.

A guy that intrigues me a little is DeMar DeRozan. He's 32, has made a boatload of money and hasn't really won much in his career. 6 playoff seasons out of 12, only has been out of the second round once. He probably wouldn't play for the minimum, but the MLE? MAYBE if our vets can sell him on this being his best chance to win a ring.

Another possibility in the probably won't happen category would be Derrick Rose. He would play for the MLE (made $7.5m last season), and might be sold on the chance to win, (7 first round exits in 10 playoff seasons), a warm weather city, and the opportunity to play with some top end young talent.

a more realistic target would be a guy like Carmelo Anthony, particularly since Portland seems to be ready to make some serious changes. Would come in and be a good quality PF option and someone that can easily get hot from the bench.

Would you take Derozan or Anthony over Saric? Because I surely would! But then it becomes a question of our salary flexibility, In which we'd of course need to move Sarics' salary and potentially create a small bit more flexibility such an upgrade. I wonder which teams might be willing to absorb Saric into their cap in exchange for a smaller cheaper contract, expiring contract or draft assets perhaps?

I know that Philly has really had interest in Saric for their backup center role. I wonder if we could initiate a 3 team trade, Wherein Saric goes to Philly, Philly sends some asset or draft compensation to San Antonio, And then we get back Derozan, etc?

Or since Portland is looking to maybe retool, Perhaps we could still swap out Saric with Carmelo??? Also, For what it's worth, I think Derozan would be hugely impactful in a fast paced " Run 'n' Gun style fast break offense! :D
In fact, I believe that we'd be super dominant/ unstoppable with Derozan at the 4 in a fast paced uptempo offense!

Well he's led a not so talented team to the playoffs in his first two years. I think he's probably destined for success if they put the right pieces around him. He nearly led a not so talented to team to a victory over the team 538 had has the championship favorites before the playoffs and slightly behind the Nets now.

I get it. Thibs worked with less. But on the flip side, Monty had to integrate a new floor general, in a brutal western conference.
I believe we had the best road record in the league.
We were 1 game out of best record in the NBA.
All with our core not being in their prime yet.

I get the roster is better, but 10 more wins is a lot.

But on the flip side, you look at NY's roster, and no way they should have had the 4th best record in the East.

Whoever voted Monty 3rd in the voting cost him CoY.
You want to argue Thibs? Fine. But there's no excuse Monty gets anything worse than 2nd place votes. Those idiot media members cost him

I wouldn't be surprised many of the media who wanted Thibs to win (NY probably has a lot more media coverage and voters than Phx), intentionally put Monty 3rd.

Hopefully the team uses it as motivation.

So more voters actually thought Monty was the 3rd best coach than Thibs was the 2nd/3rd and that's how Thibs won?
