Congrats Thibs. You didn't deserve it for that crap you pulled with Payton all season. And Obi. And Frank. And IQ to an extent.

Did you miss the last 10 years of this franchise? Thibs deserved it. He took Julius Randle, the guy everyone wanted traded last year for a bag of beans, into a legit MVP candidate. He took RJ Barrett and proved to us that he belongs to be drafted 3rd overall. He took IQ and made him into every teams “should have drafted this guy.” He inspired a group of players who didn’t play defense before this, to play defense night in and night out. He also got D Rose to play the best basketball he’s played in years. Did we get destroyed by the Hawks? Yes but we shouldn’t lose sight of the progress this guy made with this team. Thibs is a real coach and is a difference maker.

Let me know the last time a Knicks coach made his players better? Oh that’s right it was the last time Thibs was an assistant coach under JVG.
