Show some love for what they did, not what they didn't do. the plan is it get better year by year.

If we can continue to improve at this pace, we'll be 82-0 in a 2-3 seasons. IMO.

Wow, even I wasn't expecting to win that much, even tho I'm so happy from Thibs winning COY.

But if you say so, then 82 it is!

Damn he ran away with it, well deserved. Was pretty obvious.

Either way it's just the begginning.

Congrats to Thibs. Coach of the year. That means from now on whatever Thibs says goes and you will like it.

Congrats.

Maybe now you can go small like the Nets are doing.

His full title is now Two Time Coach of the Year Award Winner Tom Thibodeau and he should only be addressed as such from now on when making your pleas for your favorite young player to get into the game.

Playing on year vets over development of the youth
Knox was shooting 40 percent from 3 before he got bench
Obi limited minutes and didn’t progress
Quickly regress due to limited minutes
First round exit
2 first round picks who probably won’t play next year.
Not sure he is the best for rebuilding franchise

I guess it’s a good thing this is no longer a rebuilding franchise

Some of those scumbags on the gb are trying to blame media bias. Like the media didn't eat for 20 years burying the Knicks at every opportunity

Did you miss the last 10 years of this franchise? Thibs deserved it. He took Julius Randle, the guy everyone wanted traded last year for a bag of beans, into a legit MVP candidate. He took RJ Barrett and proved to us that he belongs to be drafted 3rd overall. He took IQ and made him into every teams “should have drafted this guy.” He inspired a group of players who didn’t play defense before this, to play defense night in and night out. He also got D Rose to play the best basketball he’s played in years. Did we get destroyed by the Hawks? Yes but we shouldn’t lose sight of the progress this guy made with this team. Thibs is a real coach and is a difference maker.

Let me know the last time a Knicks coach made his players better? Oh that’s right it was the last time Thibs was an assistant coach under JVG.

Thibs had almost the exact same roster and almost DOUBLED the projected win total. Thibs honestly should of won in a landslide

He does have limitations but so much better than what we had for longtime.
Let's see what he can do next season.

Did he win something else and I am misremembering it? Was it just assumed by everyone that he won it?

Monty's award was from the coaches, while this award is by the media.
