Giannis needs to team up with Dame lillard
It makes sense for both of there careers
Giannis needs that alpha scorer in front on him
And Dame needs a guy who can help cover up for him on defense
Once he isn't the clear cut option number 1 option for a team on offense i think people can appreciate him for what he is

On Curry declining

you can still have good games in the decline, look at kobe's last game in his career

Harden put the best bucks on his list and they chose to not get him. Harden is the best playmaker/facilitator in tje nba and he and Giannis would have been perfect. Harden the playmaker offensive workload and Giannis the defensive anchor and off the pick and roll ... wow.

No, he isn't.
If you're asking me who the Mavs best player is, I'd say Luka. A guy like Delon Wright probably rivals his impact though at this stage in his career. KP may as well if he gets his **** together.

I think that was a fake expanded list. The options he listed had near zero assets to trade. It is a common ploy to make you seem flexible when you’re not in a trade demand.
When will we just change the name of 25 of the 30 teams to the Washington Generals?

Actually he is.... but you could argue for Jokic, Luka or Paul as well . But harden is a great pick and roll passer and a great half court playmaker.

Ok now tell Portland and Milwaukee why they should trade dame or Giannis for what little the other team has to offer

Jokic, Luka, Paul, LeBron are all players who are better playmakers or at the very least can be argued to be better. Harden just has the good fortune to play with two of the best scorers in the league which makes it easy for him. Of course Harden is a very good playmaker. But unquestionable THE best playmaker? Not, not even close.

This would never happen, but if the other team is listening the argument for “why” would begin with “What they have now isn’t working”.

Harden in 2017 averaged 11.3 assists when he was told to concentrate on being on a point guard with a bunch of scrubbs in Houston. Then he was told we need to concentrate on being a scorer and averaged 34-34-36 each year after that. This season he said himself I will look to be a facilitator and he went back to being a point and he was arguably a top 3 playmaker again at worst with 11 assists and ran the Nets offense like a magician He averaged 11.3 assists for a season in 2017 with a bunch of scrubs in Houston. He has done it without a lot of talent.

Giannis indicated he considered joining Dame in Portland if his extension wasn’t worked out last off season. Has been a sad what if for me since.

Assist totals and averages mean little to evaluate a player just like any other raw stat. Larry Bird averaged a lot less asists and yet is widely almost universally considered one of the top 5 passer ever.
An outlier season means very little. MJ also managed double digits in assists and Wilt was assist leader for a season. Does that mean they are the greatest playmakers of all time or their era? No, it doesn't.

Seriously if you think hardens assists are manufactured I don’t know what to tell you except you need to watch him run the Nets offense. He plays like a pure point guard. Just admit you haven’t watched him in Brooklyn to see his playmaking skills.

Don't think so. Both are loyal to the bone.

I did not even remotely imply that anything is "manufactured" just that raw assist numbers mean very little and I gave examples that show that. I called Harden a very good plamaker and I made the argument that he is one of the best. It just seems like your comprehension skills are not up to snuff so let me make this clear again, the contention was only the "THE" nothing else.
If I was forced to pick the best playmaker of this season, I would pick Jokic in a heartbeat over anyone else.

I was having dreams of Giannis+Lillard team up years ago, I think they would pair extremely well together.

Re: Giannis needs to team up with Dame lillard
If I’m the Bucks GM, after this series I’m calling up the Portland front office and selling the farm for Lillard. You’d have Giannis and Lillard locked up for 2-3 year playoff runs at a championship at the minimum
